My dog has sensitive skin and can scratch quite a bit. My Vet and I chose to try External Wind Chinese Teapills. A herbal remedy anti-histamine; works well on her. 1 every 12 hours. I give her 2 depending on the Seasons and environment she is in. If she doesn't have them she a will start scratching.

2016-06-24 11:58:16 -0500 commented question What are your recommendations for a small breed that does not shed and does well with children?

Grew up with Cock-a-poos. I'm 57. I married my "Only Big Dogs" loving husband 17 years ago. He thought this breed would be a lap dog. Mine is 16 lbs., non-shedding/hypoallergenic, fantastic with Grandchildren, other dogs, a hiker, adaptable, SMART, trainable. He is in love. So fun! Highly Recommend!

Hi Alyssa, I'm sure by now you've heard and gotten on the new http://Rover.com FB Sitter referral page? If not, it's awesome. Ask to join and give it a try.

2016-06-21 16:27:48 -0500 commented answer I would like to take a Canine CPR and first aide course for my own peace of mind. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks so much Shane. I hope to never use it either but have a nursing background from a long time ago and feel it could be useful just in case. I couldn't find a resource. I've already checked them out and e-mailed them. I appreciate you!

2016-05-11 14:07:45 -0500 commented answer Do you get taken advantage of after you book stays?

I am new at this with a successful first stay last weekend. I have learned so many tips, Rover supports, and a learning curve while reading this. I am sorry for this poor experience Ashley, but by bringing this here you are helping fellow sitters not be in the same situation and to know what to do.

2016-05-11 13:40:43 -0500 commented question How can I tell if a dog is being playful or dominant (aggressive)?

The growl is a lower tone; more serious. The teeth are shown fully, quiver during the growl. Hackles up, tail between legs. Eyes are hooked on opponent. An aluminum spoon banged on a pot to startle works as well. Use a broom to push the fur balls apart and back.
