asked a question | Are there Rover meet-ups to meet other sitters in your area? Often times I get requested to watch a dog, and I'm already booked for another dog-sitting gig. The dog owners sometimes ask if I know any other sitters in the area that I can recommend, but I don't know any sitters with Rover accounts near me. It would be cool to have a little sitter meet-up so that I can confidently recommend other sitters for the jobs I can't take! Does anyone know of something like this that already exists? |
answered a question | My customers aren't giving me reviews?? I agree; that can be frustrating and you don't want to seem pushy. But it is totally appropriate to remind your client at the end of the stay that your Rover success sort of depends on good reviews. I usually leave a "Thank You" card at the client's home when I leave, welcoming them home and telling them what I adored about their dog. I end by thanking them for choosing me as their Rover sitter, and then telling them how much I would appreciate a review. This has seemed to work pretty well for me so far! |
