I've found even the word "housebroken" can be interpreted differently. I had a small apartment dog whose owner was not American. Her idea of housebroke was to potty on puppy pads, of which she provided ONE for a three day stay. Yuck! Since then, I make sure I am clear about the dog going outside. |
