So in my profile I am pretty open that I work (though flexible) there are days I have to be on site and I need a dog to be crated trained or who does well outside of the crate. I also have a pretty large playful puppy. I am watching this dog and we did a meet and greet and it seemed...okay. I was a little nervous because he seemed to be a tad aggressive with my dog, but the owner said he just plays hard. I asked all the normal questions and then the owner mentioned he suffers from separation anxiety and breaks out of his crate, which I am not used too. He was leaving out of town right after so basically I couldn't push back (maybe I should have). But, now I have had to take all the toys away because he'll go after my dog and I'm not sure what to do that will help his separation anxiety. I have been upfront with the owner that the toys are an issue and I was nervous since I have to be at work leaving him alone. Are there any tips/advice you guys can give me to help him? Or should I let him know I think his dog would be better fit for an only dog home? I am just not sure what to do.
