Thank you Walt. Turns out that it is now kind of a mute point as my boys back legs are not doing so well and he can not physically do the behavior anymore

I highly recommend the artificial turf. I have had it for years now and it is wonderful!! You must sanitize it at least once a week though and replace worn out pieces periodically but other than that it is a blessing.

After the first meeting and he knows the dog he does not do it again, how do I explain to a new client that this is normal and harmless canine behavior and will not be constant during the dogs stay?? He only does it to males of the same size, not to females or small dogs.
