My dog just had a seizure for the very first time. A german shepherd/ greyhound mix. She is now 12. My parents went on a cruise and i’m watching the dogs, they have been gone for a week now. I do know that seizures can be caused by stress and my dog wouldn’t eat for the first 2 days unless I forced her too. It’s most likely because of old age but I just wanted some opinions on the stress causing it. Also, she started whimpering towards the end? Do dogs whimper because they are scared or because it caused it pain?
