commented answer Accepting monetary tips from owners?

I have had a few clients who give us cash tips anywhere from $10 - $20 and I have also received gift card. I started getting more tips as I got better at communicating and really making both the dogs and their parents feel like their experience is unique and altered to their needs! Great Feeling

commented answer What causes profile placement to change on search?

Personally, I usually rank higher when I accept the request and when I am booked all the time compared to when I decline the request and book a few bookings.

answered a question Fake Requests - Are Other Long Time Sitter Getting Allot of These Too?

I personally have had another Rover sitter request a booking for $100 a month to take care of their dog all day until 10 pm. Of course, I would decline the offer, I was a little upset especially because they were a Rover Sitter and a$100 to take care of a dog every single day and all day was way below my pricing. I have also had fake accounts contact me. I started to call the phone numbers and to my surprise when the person answers they are upset because their phone numbers are being used on Rover when they never signed up. So sometimes there are real scams out there. I do wish the booking score was updated because sometimes owners request a service I do not offer and it affects my score.

asked a question Feeling a little overwhelmed - Any advice? Dog is biting and peed on our mattress ?

We took in a dog on Friday and we did a meet and greet a week before. The dog was calm and very friendly all she did was lay down. When the dad dropped her off she was very calm as well. Once she went inside she was a new dog, she kept going after my cat and pawing him really hard and the parents profile said she gets along with cats so I had to separate them, she gets into the trash can (which was not a big deal because I could remove it) but anything she would find she would put in her mouth and destroy including my homework. Which again not a big deal because we have had other dogs like that but the parents never mentioned any of this destructive behavior. My biggest problem is she likes to bite and hard anytime we take something away or redirect her attention and she gets a hold of my clothes and my fiancee's clothes and pulls at it. She also will take any food I am eating off of my table or hand. This morning she peed on a doggy blanket although she goes out every two hours (not a big deal) until she peed on our bed (memory foam). I texted her parents yesterday and told them she was biting us and pulling our clothes that we were wearing. They said this has never happened and to redirect her attention with commands and lots of treats. As of today she has gone out for an hour walk, spent 3 hours outside and 30 mins of water play time outside. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but we tired her out enough so far that she is resting but its very difficult to go on about our day without having to chase after her. Even when we are outside she puts everything in her mouth which her parents did not mention. We feel like redirecting her with treats is only rewards her especially when she is biting us firmly. Also, we could not sleep at all last night because she kept getting into things even regular household objects.

Should I tell the parents she peed on our mattress?

Any tips or advice on what I can do ?
