commented answer | Is it right to be annoyed when pet owners deliberately don't mention behavior? And of course they are on a cruise and unreachable. |
commented answer | Is it right to be annoyed when pet owners deliberately don't mention behavior? And fast as they have 3 small children. He will obey me for going in and out of doors or for his food. I have walked him, I have played endless hours of fetch, I'm exasperated! They already have me booked again in October! My arms are all scratched up and bleeding! Any suggestions??!! |
commented answer | Is it right to be annoyed when pet owners deliberately don't mention behavior? On. I want to get some energy out of him. He will NOT walk on a leash without standing straight up and pulling. I did walk him this morning to tire him out - I thought. Nope. Came back and he was still running around nuts biting at my pants leg and snapping at me. This dog needs to be under control |
commented answer | Is it right to be annoyed when pet owners deliberately don't mention behavior? I'm SO glad I found this post as I was going to add a question of my own! I'm 2 days into a 7 day stay with a German Shepard puppy. I have kept him once before a couple of weeks ago and he was tough then but now he's a terror! He lunges at my face and bites and scratches when I try to but his leash |
commented answer | What is the feeling towards other websites or services similar to rover.com? Ok thank you! I misread the financial terms on Dogvacay! (The member/the host) as I'm both on Rover lol! I apologize! Please forgive me! And you're right Serina! I'm having to go out of town in a couple weeks but I'm ready! Having a sitter is so much better than boarding them at a vet/kennel. |
commented answer | What is the feeling towards other websites or services similar to rover.com? Hi! I'm actually having to use Dogvacay next week. I don't get my booking fee back (which hopefully is a $1 lol)!! I don't mind that. I didn't know Rover had that too! I just don't have the money to put up FIRST before I get paid. Does that makes sense? Especially for a long booking. |
answered a question | What is the feeling towards other websites or services similar to rover.com? I looked into dogvacay myself and I thought it quite ridiculous as a sitter. YOU have to pay before the client does. It's not like I'm sitting on a gold mine and can just "swipe" my card every time I get a request. Also if you're an owner, you get screwed too. There's a booking fee that you can't get back even if you do the meet and greet and don't like the sitter!! |

commented question | Why do dog feet smell like corn chips? I just want to say I LOVE THIS QUESTION!! Made me chuckle!! |
answered a question | I have yorkie terrier that licks and scratches until his hair comes out in patches, does anyone know what I can do? Sometimes mine does it from boredom or lack of exercise. When he starts licking, I know he needs to be walked and stimulated mentally as well so I'll usually teach him a new trick to wear him out. Also, my dog has some anxiety issues and will do it then too. |
answered a question | What is the stubbornest breed of dogs? Basset Hounds. I've had two and I've never seen anything like it in all my life. I guess they probably all are when they don't want to do what they're told. Just like kids!! Haha!! |
