asked a question | Using puppy pads for dogs that are home alone all day? Hello, I am currently living in South Korea for my job. I recently decided to foster two dogs, a mom and her puppy, to help the shelter so they wouldn't be put down. The puppy is still too young to go outside, and the mama is too scared/isn't trained to. Also I am at work every day from around 8-5. I put them in a spare bedroom with plenty of toys and puppy pads, but they don't seem to use them. I tape them down but the puppy still shreds them. I always come home to a mess and I don't know what to do. How do I train them to use the puppy pads only? I know it's not the most ideal situation for dogs, but I figured they would be better off with me where I can give them love than put down. I need advice! Thank you! |
