commented answer | What Are Your Housesitting Best Practices? What kind of things do you put in the gift bag? The idea of a card is super cute and I might have to adopt that! |
commented answer | Is my time still listed as free or available while a booking is pending? You booked with the person before scheduling a meet and greet? I get a little skittish when someone hops on the Book It button too fast and I haven't even met their dog yet. |
answered a question | How should I handle my serious concerns about dog parent's behavior? I'm all for helping out a client in more ways than just watching their pets but you deserve a medal for all the stuff they had you doing. A regular feeding for an aquarium is one thing but a whole koi pond and an aquarium with controlled mechanisms?? That would be extra $$ for sure. Your whole ordeal is out of the realm of what should have been expected of you and your messages sound much more polite than mine would have been. I hope to hear about how you go forward with this stay! |
answered a question | Client interviewing several sitters? That is kind of a weird issue. I mean feeding cats and watering plants only takes a few minutes (unless it really is an obstacle because of the number of both or other issues) so I never charge extra for them if it's a quick thing. One client left me a tip to feed the cats and bring in a package, I had text her she didn't have to do that but she was happy to leave it for me. Did the client end up using your services? |
answered a question | what's a good wet food brand? I hear Royal Canin is top notch, but a little pricey. Other than that I don't really use wet food for my pets. |
