answered a question I have a dog coming from Friday morning to late Sunday night but it says 2 days?

Rover's booking system is frustratingly elementary. It seems the ONLY thing you can do automatically is book by night at a set rate.

If you want to book a daycare for less, you have to manually change the fee.

If you want to book two nights and a day for more, you have to manually change the fee.

I find it unprofessional. Rather than the client knowing straight up what they will pay, you have to give every single client a long explanation/apology for the Rover system.

I really wish Rover would put in the time to make the system a bit more sophisticated. At least DogVacay allowed you to have two separate prices automated for overnight and daycare.

answered a question I sat for a dog for 2 nights & 1 day - how come I'm only being paid for 2 days?

This is a really poor way of booking.

The client sees, oh, I can book for Thursday- Saturday and only get charged $60! Great, I'll book.

If you as the sitter want to get paid for the extra time, you have to go to the client and say, sorry Rover gave you the wrong price, it's actually going to cost more. This makes you look bad. This makes the client feel like they've been caught in a bait and switch.

Rover should provide more sophisticated booking options.
