answered a question Limited Ingredient Food Recommendations?

We have a Scottish Terrier who was a rescue. He had been given the cheapest dog food by his previous owner. We had to try several different diet plans to see what would work. He didn't like the kibble. The canned wet food lile Evangers was ok for a limited time. We tried refridgerated variety of food. Then between our vet and accupuncturist, they recommended we give our dog a mixture of boiled chicken (free range, grass fed) sweet potato, digestive enzymes in powder form, DCO which has been blended to a powder form, his medicine, and olive oil. When he was sick due to my wife being gone, we added chinese herbs and half a package of Florifanna (spelling?). It has worked and keeps him healthy. Sometimes we supplement it with a different meat like roast beef so he gets variety.
