Usually clients who want in home sitters have dogs that need to keep a routine. It would be important for you to discuss these with your client to make sure you can provide the best service possible. Make sure you know when the dog gets meals, exercise, grooming, etc. as well as if there are small tasks the owner would like you to take care of such as watering plants, collecting mail, or vacuuming areas of the house where the dog has shed. Its important to make sure your comfortable as well, so it is best to do a meet and greet, preferably at the home so you know what your getting in to. Not all clients will ask you to stay in their homes 24/7. Some just require feedings, potty breaks, and daily walks.
