I asked permission from my unit's landlord, before I started with DogVacay which I was on before they were bought by Rover earlier this year. My landlord approved it because we have been good renters with our own dog for several years. My landlord did ask us to limit the stays to only 2 dogs aside from our own boy (there is a 3 dog per unit regulation) and also that the dogs were up to date on shots, housebroken, not a banned breed and spayed/neutered - all things that we agreed to in having our dogs when we signed our rental agreement. These are also things we already would want in the dogs we would be watching, potty training puppies can be tough ;)
