Vinegar is the all around best odor neutralizer. You can dilute it 1 part white vinegar to 4 parts water in a spray bottle and spray it on carpets or upholstery or put some in the washing machine with soiled sheets or other machine washables. The smell of vinegar will evaporate with a few days along with the offending odors.
