Hello fellow pup sitter! I had the same question when I first began Rovering last month. To help me be competitive, I searched sitter profiles in my zip code, noted how experienced they were, and how many bookings & reviews they had, and then set my rate about $5 less than the top charging sitters. Being brand new, i thought this strategy would help me get established, earn a few great reviews, then I could notch up my rates as I gained more experience. Hope this is helpful! 🐾
