I always fed her high quality food and treats and had no idea why she was scratching all day and night. For a month I made home made food for her however she's 65lbs and I was making A LOT of food! I switched her to a food that had no chicken fat/meal in it, Pure Vita salmon and peas and she's been itch free! Happy tails! |

| answered a question | Harness recommendations for two older, large dogs? I have 2 large dogs and started using harnesses years ago. I have 2 different types but really like the Kong harness. The handle on the back is really convenient. "Kong Comfort Dog Harness and Traffic Loop" The placement of the leash on the harness can help with the pulling. If the leash is connected to the harness at the chest you can utilize the dogs own strength in the action of pulling to pull the dog back towards you to correct the behavior. When the leash is connnected to the harness on the back the action of pulling will continue as normal. Happy tails! |
