| asked a question | CraigsList is charging fees now - so where else is good to post free ads? I just went on CL for the first tiem since way early spring and got slapped in the face by their $5 per post fee! WHAAAATT????!!! So... where else is there to post ads? CL is obviously off the list! Not paying that! |

| marked best answer | how to tell if your contact is a scam? I just set up my account 2 days ago and have gotten a few messages via fb ads and craigslist. My issue is.. they seem sketchy. Two came from 2 different people asking for services for a friend kinda thing. One via text and the other via email. One responded saying they are moving from Australia and want to pay $450 for all these add on services (like bathing and training) during 4 hour daycare (how does one even charge via rover for extra/odd services like that?!) Basically, I get a bad feeling about some of these requests because they are so odd right out of the gate. How best to avoid being scammed or spammed? |
| commented answer | If a sitter needs to add a day to the beginning of a request that has already been accepted, do they have to cancel that request and send a new one or can an existing booking be edited? yes, very good idea! easier for client and sitter while boosting sitter ratings and payday. BRAVO! |
