commented answer | How to deal with damage to your home while sitting a dog? I started fostering dogs and then came to rover after one of the fosters escaped his crate and caused over $700 worth of damage. The rescue did nothing to help. I would hope owners would take more responsibility for their dogs, but I've learned my lesson on that one. (Cont.) |

asked a question | How do you handle multiple bookings? Having dogs from different households is something I would be comfortable with as a sitter, I could handle the introductions, feelings, walks, keeping separated if need be, etc. But I wasn't sure how people approach this topic with the people they dog sit for? Do you ask everyone you dog sit for if they're comfortable with you accepting other dogs during their dogs stay? Or do you only bring it up if the opportunity presents? |
