Do Yorkies and German Shepherds get along?

I really want to hear about anyone's experiences/opinions. I have a yorkie and she weighs about 5 lbs. She will be turning 4 years old in two weeks. I'm looking at purchasing a German Shepherd in 2 months whenever they're ready. Is this a good idea? Will they get along? Whenever I got my yorkie, we had a Chow/German Shepherd mix, but never put them together because my chow was too old and didn't want to take any chances. We put my chow down about a year ago, so my yorkie has been by herself since then.

I think getting the GSD as a puppy you have a better chance of them bonding from the start. I've never had this combination of dogs but like always you'd want to consider the genders of each dog, and always be vigilant because if anything were to happen, such as a scuffle, the Yorkie would be more likely to be injured due to it's size. If you have a dog trainer that you use, I'd check in with them for some advice as well.
