What do you normally use for sending updates - regular text to the Rover number, the Rover app or your desktop?

Once again I'm having issues sending texts to my clients Rover numbers. We have 3 dogs here from 2 different clients - I send daily updates with text/pics to the Rover number. Last night I get texts from both clients asking how are their dogs. I check online and I don't see my daily text updates so I feel like it's useless to call Rover since they won't see anything on their side. I used the app to send updates to both clients last night and apologized profusely because they were both very nervous about leaving their dogs (first time pet parents). I felt like a total idiot and wonder if this will impact getting a good review. Just wondering what others do to make sure their updates are actually updating :) Happy Holidays!

I'm guessing the Rover app is the obstacle. At first, I mainly use my desktop, but now I almost always text/picture message to the Rover number with no difficulties. I've noticed that when more than 1 conversation/booking is open with a client, the messages will be attached to the last communication (even if that is for a future, not the current stay). Since you can see all the photos in order of the Rover Reel, I also check it out (usually daily) to double check what's there. If there's a problem, at least I can send again at that point.

I've always just used the rover website and sent messages through it unless the client contacts me directly once a stay is booked. Then I will text their number with questions, but I still use the website to send photos, messages etc. That way I have a record of everything. I don't have a smartphone so don't know anything about the app or sending photos via text.

Unfortunately every app is apt to have glitches. I've never had and issue sending correspondence with my phone. I have however had a few occurrences when I wasn't notified of new requests. Fail proof method computer desktop. Rover app on Tablet has been good as well. A few phone glitches with receiving requests.
