I found a sitter that might work but it is making me pay to book before I have even contacted her to go over the details. Is there a way to do a meet and greet before paying?
Yes. You can contact the sitter and it’s encouraged to have meet and greet before booking. The system requests info up front, but nothing is actually charged to payment until both parties click “book it now” (which means you’d have to click that a 2nd time). If you accidentally booked in error when attempting to set m&g, can call support and they’d reverse the charge. all funds are actually held by rover until after the service completion date and the sitter is paid a couple days later
