Is your dog homosexual?
Hi there, I am a television producer from the UK, who is making a documentary about same sex behavior in animals, including dogs. Dog owners will likely have seen this activity at some point, whether from their own dogs or others. Lots of people, including experts assume this is a display of dominance, but recent studies suggests homosexuality can and does exist in animals, domestic and wild. As part of the documentary we hoping to meet and film with people who suspect their dog has a preference for the same sex - whether male or female. If you think this applies to your dog, then it would be great to discuss the behavior you are witnessing and whether you might be happy to feature alongside your pet in our documentary. Look forward to hearing from you and perhaps discussing this over a call later down the line.
No, but I know several homosexuals that have cavoodles. That might be a place to start.
You're fishing for proof to back your theory, obviously. True sexual intercourse is practically impossible for animals of the same sex. Just because they prefer the company of a same sex animals doesn't prove they are gay.
Seems like a perfectly valid question from the OP to me. I don't see anything erroneous about it. There have been plenty of examples of same-sex engagement across species in the animal kingdom witnessed and reported in studies and articles (e.g. the penguin one).
My older male dog was recently neutered and even though he was neutered he is still trying to actually screw the new puppy who is also male and I'm not talking just humping I mean he was almost in his butt a minute ago and I had to pull him off of him
And not just that but the older male is not the dominant of the two he is usually the more timid they play together well but the puppy is getting so big he is definitely the more dominant of the two.males so I dont see how the timid one "humping"him is a dominance thing
And it started out when we first got the puppy that the older dog would let the puppy lick on his thing and I have to stop them because obviously the puppy is so young he doesn't know what that is or what hes doing but the older dog is basically getting a BJ
