why is my puppy trying to bite people?
i own a pekingese dog i got him only from 3-4 weeks but i think there is something wrong with him. he is 2 months old and he always try to bite us i don't know why i thought maybe because he is afraid of us but that is not the point, when we try to feed him he eats and he let us carry him but dont let anybody else and when we leave him for awhile and come to pick him up , he seems so happy to see us. on the other hand when we leave him on the floor he try bite us and sometimes bite his tail and his body and everything he sees, and he also try to jump to reach us on the sofa to bite us. he also sometimes barks and get afraid when there is nothing infront of him and he doesnt sleep unless we are in the same room with him if we put him outside our room he will bark all night until we take him we went to a veterinary but he said there is nothing wrong with him so what is the wrong with my dog and why is he acting this way? and thanks in advance
Hi. Your puppy might actually be teething. Provide teething toys that keeps him entertained and most likely will also provide comfort during the process. You might also start correcting that behavior and reward with positive reinforcement
