Can I request a meet and greet without committing to a stay?

Can I contact a sitter re a potential stay and set up a meet and greet, but not actually book if I don't think it will work? Or can sitter just accept my request, obligating me to pay?

Rover doesn't have a Meet & Greet only request function. So you do have to select some dates in order to contact a sitter. However, just include a message that you want to do a M&G only. You shouldn't have any problem nor are you obligated to pay.
