How should I do if the dog ruined my carpet and the dog owner is unwilling to compensate and even beat me?
I just took care of a German shepherd, and was always supervising her during the day. During the night, I put her in a playpen, and when I was sleeping, the dog chewed the carpet and ruined it. The dog owner was unwilling to compensate. When I wanted to negotiate with her, she was unwilling to talk, and then beat me and forcibly took her dog out. Should the owner have any responsibilities for doing like that?
She maybe cannot get charged for her dog chewing your carpet but you can definitely take her to court for BEATING you! This is common sense! You should have called the cops!
