Dr. Rebecca Greenstein
Dr. Rebecca Greenstein, B.Sc., D.V.M., completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ontario Veterinary College. Upon graduation, she completed advanced training with consecutive internships at the renowned Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Referral Centre in downtown Toronto, Canada.
While training to be a full-time surgeon, Dr. Rebecca found her calling as an ER doctor. After spending almost a decade caring for thousands of sick and injured pets as Chief Emergency Veterinarian, she left ER behind to take the reins as Chief Veterinarian and practice owner at Kleinburg Veterinary Hospital in 2018. Under her leadership, Kleinburg Veterinary Hospital has won awards and earned a reputation for inspired veterinary care with a focus on wellness, and kindness.
In addition to caring for her four-legged patients, Dr. Rebecca regularly appears on national TV, radio, and in magazines as a guest vet expert. You may have seen her on TV as the resident Veterinary Medical Expert on CTV’s The Social and Your Morning. She has been featured in articles for Glamour, PetMD, Business Insider, HowStuffWorks, Weight Watchers, Yahoo, and Narcity, to name a few. Dr. Rebecca joined Rover.com’s Dog People Panel as their Veterinary Medical Advisor with a shared vision of making the lives of fur babies and pet parents happier and healthier.
