Hello,
I am a recent transplant to the Austin area, from Oregon, and would love to meet some Texas dogs and cats! I have lots of love for all your pets, and would like more than anything to get to know them. I have volunteered at multiple human societies, and shelters, and loved every minute of it. I just finished my college degree in Environmental studies and am looking for my dream job. I would gladly make taking care of your pets my top priority as I search. I have my own darling dog, who I love unconditionally, and can't imagine having to leaving her in a boarding faculty, and hope to provide a home for your animal, so they don't have to go through that either. I can travel to your home, so your dog never even has to leave. If you like I can even bring over or take your dog, and my playful pup Penny for a date to the dog park. I also am available to walk your dog, on a daily, weekly basis, or come over to let them out, and play at little while your at work (different rates than boarding).

Forever. Since I was little I have loved all animals, big and small, cute and strange.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

Just a little bit about them, what they like to do, and how I can keep them happy. I love all breeds, and mutts.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes. And will glad get your pet to safety.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes. I have given my own dog shots, flea meds, baths, and pills.

Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away
(e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?

Yep, whatever is needed.

Sweet little mix, of not real sure. Looks like a little dingo, or fox. A big dog look but small. Loves to play. lick people, and be by your side.

Sarah kept after my two dogs and house while my partner and I went away for Christmas. I didn't think we would find someone to look after them during the holidays but I came home to a clean house and happy/safe dogs. I was pleased to see that I could trust Sarah with my home and property. She kept in contact while we were gone and gave me updates to their well-being. These guys are my children so it was very nerve wrecking leaving them with someone, but it seems like they enjoyed her company, because they weren't as excited to see us as we were them! lol I hope to have Sarah around for awhile, good sitters are hard to come by, and she seems like a great girl to work with. We have never utilized Rover prior to our recent trip out of town and were somewhat nervous to allow someone in our home to watch over our youngest. Sarah responded quickly and after meeting in person we knew she would be awesome! I recommend Sarah to anyone who is looking for someone who is trustworthy, responsible, and caring! We look forward to continuing our services with Sarah!

This was the first time we had used a "traveling sitter" allowing our Boxer Buzz to stay in his home environment while we were away for the Thanksgiving holiday. It worked great! Sarah is excellent. She replied quickly to all our questions, made time to come over and meet Buzz before our trip, sent updates while we were away, and even feed our two fish as well! Sarah is a natural with dogs and I'm sure she can easily manage all breeds and sizes David C. (Collapse)

As a skeptical person searching Rover for someone we didn't know to watch our dog on short notice, Sarah definitely came to the rescue. She was willing to come over on a day's notice to come meet us and our dog, and we ended up locking ourselves out of our place after giving her our keys, and she came back and we ended up taking her and her boyfriend out to dinner and had a good time getting to know them. She was great with our hyperactive and strong dog, let him play with their dog, Penny, and sent updates throughout the weekend. We came home to a bed with sheets that had even been changed and towels in the laundry room. I would highly recommend her, and you can trust her with your dog in your place or her place. (Collapse)
