She is a very caring person and obvious dog lover. There wasn't a day that she didn't walk Harley and take him on hikes. She fed him nutritionally and wouldn't allow us to feed him people food. Once in a while, we asked her to look after our place when we went away which she did happily. Not only watered our plants but thoroughly cleaned our house. Whether they are strays in need of love and some food, or they’re being mistreated at neighbor’s places – Nayantara is the person who’s ready to be there for them. Just this summer in Bahrain, she’d feed some stray pups, bought them toys and played with them every day. She loved these pups as her own, and even after leaving Bahrain, left strict instructions with her parents to look after them. She’s trustworthy and hardworking, and unconsciously, I find myself feeding stray cats too after being with her.”

About: I have grown up with animals. I have knowledge with training, senior dogs, giving medication, bathing. I have volunteered and watched friends/family animals for years. I can do it Full time if needed. I recently moved to Castlegar and worked years in customer service and now want a change of pace. Caring for Animals and helping people are part of my core values. I have a fenced in yard and live in the country. I'm also right across the road from a lake so on super hot days we can spend lots of time in the water as well as hiking around. I also have a reliable vehicle so if your dog is more comfortable in there home and in there neighborhood I can definitely go there. Anything to make your animal safe and comfortable. I have 2 dogs ( both older) and 2 lazy house cats. There is always lots of entertainment around my house.

About: My name is Megan Strong, I am a long time animal lover and have plenty of experience with animals. I have a 4 year old Lab/Shepard mix of my own. She is amazing with other dogs and has lived with many dog visitors coming and going in our home. I love to take her and all the dogs I work with on big adventures on the doggy friendly trails in the area. I have had dogs my whole life, as well as worked on a farm for 7 years dealing with, caring for, and feeding horses, cats, and dogs. I have experience with administrating oral medication as well as other medical needs. I am confident in my abilities to provide the best care for a happy , healthy pet. I am able to do in home care as well as bringing your pets to my home with lots of room outside.You will not be disappointed with my attentiveness and care when it comes to your animals. Inquire about availability. I am starting school in the fall in Nelson so will be around for quick check ins, but for the month of August I have full availability. I have a large open home with a fenced in back yard. When visiting a clients home I would treat it with the same respect as my own.
