About: I have over 12 years of experience in pet care, and a deep love for animals and a knack for understanding their needs. From pets of my own to training and the enrichment of others, my care for animals has no end. Whether your furry friend is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I tailor my time with them to suit their unique personality and energy levels. Safety is my top priority, and I am well-versed in canine behavior, ensuring a fun and secure outing every time. In addition to walking, I provide basic training reinforcement, hydration breaks, and lots of belly rubs and affection. My overall patience and unique understanding of dog personalities allows me to connect with any dog, reactive, or shy. High energy, or a couch potato. Your dog's happiness and well-being are my ultimate goals! Contact me to schedule a walk and let’s give your pup the exercise and joy they deserve. I currently work full time during the day but have all weekends a holidays off to take in your fur babies! I am always available after 4 pm and extremely flexible with my mornings and evenings! Reach out of your need something special and I will make it work! I have a large fully fenced in yard and 2 dogs of my own to keep your babies company if requested. Large and small kennels available with 1000 square feet of indoor space available for them if requested.

5. Mary J.
About: I have owned animals my whole life. I have also worked in veterinary medicine for almost 10 years. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have worked in General Practice as well as ER/ICU. I also operate an animal rescue in which I take in animals in need of medical care and once the animal is healthy, find adopters. I have taken care of numerous animals during my career. I have exceptional knowledge of medical management for animals needing medical care, medications, injections, etc. I currently work as an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) part time. I operate my rescue every day of the week. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me several opportunities during the day/night to provide drop ins to a clients home for walks, medications, etc. I am typically home most of the day so animals staying in my home will have frequent access to the yard and attention from me I have a fenced in yard and a separate entrance and indoor space for pet sitting within my home. I have a finished basement with cat trees, dog toys, couches, etc to make guests staying within my home feel comfortable. Currently, I only have space for one client’s pets at a time to ensure all pets get along and are safe together. Guest within my home will not have access to my own personal pets.

7. Sarah W.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for four years, starting during summer breaks and continuing ever since. I absolutely love dogs and have experience with pups of all ages and energy levels. While in college, I volunteered regularly at my local humane society, where I cared for dogs of all breeds and personalities—from shy seniors to energetic puppies. I took them on walks, organized dog day outs, and learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. I bring a positive, energetic attitude and love spending time outdoors—whether it’s a long walk, a jog, or just spending time in the sun! This summer, I’ll be working part-time before starting my teaching career in the fall—I just graduated in May! With a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, pet care fits in perfectly. I’m excited to spend my summer staying active and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I currently offer pet care in my clients’ homes, not my own. When I’m in your home, I take pride in caring not just for your pets, but also for your space—treating it with the same respect I would want for my own. I provide regular updates and pictures so you can feel confident and connected while you're away. I truly love animals, and whether it’s your dog or cat, you can trust they’ll be safe, loved, and well cared for with me.

8. Jennifer W.

“Jennifer did a great job checking in on and taking care of my 3 cats for a week. They all seemed happy to see her each day, even the grumpy cat. I would recommend her and would book with her again.”

9. Yelena D.
About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. I also have a crate upon your request and lots of toys!!

10. Jessica C.
“Jessie will give your pet/dog the best care. She shows up when she’s expected and my dogs are happy to see her. She gives them lots of positive attention and plenty of exercise. Jessie has a ton of experience with animals and her caring energy is just what you’d want for your pet!”

15. Nethalie D.
About: I owned a beautiful 7 year old St. Bernard and although he was stubborn he taught me a lot. I am able to control and establish a barrier of trust between us to ensure my safety, his and the safety of those around us because let's be honest he is a big boy (180 lbs to be exact). Taking care of such a big boy, ensures me that I will be able to take care of your fur baby, no matter the size, or temperament. I have cared for many other dogs and house sat a few with behavioral problems as well. I am currently working part time, however my schedule is not exact, so as long as you reach out I will most likely be able to accommodate you and your furry friend. I have a front yard and a large crate meant for any size if necessary. I live in a townhome and can take your dog for as many or as little walks as they need.

16. Jessica T.

“Jessica has been wonderful with Penelope.”

17. Logan A.
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I also currently work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, so caring for animals is a daily thing for me while also caring for my own. The biggest dog I have experience with is a Great Dane while the smallest is a Yorkshire Terrier. I currently work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center part-time, so Rover will be more of a secondary income for me. I work with dogs, cats, and rabbits daily but also have experience with pets including hamsters and fish. My dogs are let outside at least 6 times a day. Those times definitely being morning, noon, evening, and night and some times in between. They are crated while I’m not home but while I am with them they freely roam. They even sleep with me.
