About: I have been around animals ever since I was born, and started my first job petsitting in only 6th grade. I have worked with a variety of animals ranging from dogs and cats, to ducks, to chinchillas, to horses! I’ve always felt like I have a strong connection with animals, and see my own animals as children. This is why I want to help others take care of their fur babies knowing that they are in safe kind hands while they are away. It is my number one priority to make sure your animal is happy, safe, and comfortable in your absence. Every animal has its own personality, and I’ve loved bonding with so many animals over the years. Animal experience: -dog -cat -horse -goat -chicken -duck -bunny -hamster -Guinea pig -chinchilla -turtle -hermit crab -fish I am college student, and pet sitting is my full time job during the summer. This means I have a very flexible schedule to help accomadate your needs and can do same day bookings. I firmly believe that a consistent routine for an animal is key to keeping them comfortable, especially if you are to leave. I would follow the owners daily routine to help keep your animals calmer. If they are crate trained I can put them in their crate, watch them in the yard, take them on walks, play with them, and cuddle at the end of the day. I strongly believe in the saying “leave it better than you found it”, which I intend to do in your home!

About: I've always felt a special connection with animals- from encounters in the redwood forests of Northern California to the coastal sanctuaries of Maine, I’ve spent much time appreciating the deep wisdom held within the animal kingdom. In my own life, cats and dogs have helped show me the true nature of unconditional love, journeying together through obstacles with plenty of joy. I've boarded and cared for several dogs long-term, lived with up to 3 cats at a time (please see testimonials) and always enjoy getting to know the unique personality and ways of each animal. Beyond domestic pets, I often spend time in nature, getting to know the local birds, deer, chipmunks, etc. and enjoy spending time at several wolf sanctuaries in New England. My approach is gentle and my goal is nourishment, safety and support with whoever I get the chance to work with. I’m presently in my third year of graduate school for Chinese medicine and acupuncture, a medicine that includes healing practices such as Qi Gong which often draws from the teachings of animals to generate strength and resilience in one's body. I hope to have the chance to work with animals in a healing capacity some day. I enjoy giving back to animals in any way I can and I'd be truly honored to care for your beloved pet. I'm currently a graduate student with wide availability outside of classes, including most weekdays and weekends. Tuesdays/Thursdays/weekends are generally best but I have flexibility on all other days as well. I'll care for your pets with compassion and attentiveness and honor whatever instructions and ways that you feel are best for your dog or cat. I've had experience crating, bathing, grooming, clipping, walking, running, playing etc.

I am available on weekends. I have experience crating dogs, as I crate my own dog. I can let the dogs outside in a fenced in area or walk them around the yard, whatever is best and safest for your fur baby!

I have pretty open availability during the work week, minus 2 weekly appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday. I’d also love to spend a lovely summer weekend day with your pet as well! I usually follow the lead of the homeowners, so if there’s behavior that is considered normal for your pet, I’d love to know about it and how you usually handle it. Carley C.

“Carley is a wonderful pet sitter and I would highly recommend her services! Carley has pet sat for both my cat and 1yo puppy - he's a big (92lb!) goofball and a lot to handle but she always manages to keep him calm and entertained. She does a really great job of redirecting and correcting his puppy behavior which has really helped to improve his overall demeanor at home! The pets really love hanging out with Carley and she's also very respectful when she stays over to watch them. I know my pets are in great hands with her and I feel confident that they are being loved and cared for like I would. Thank you for your great work, Carley! Atlas and Pixel are looking forward to your next visit!”

Jeffrey M.
“Over the course of a year, I had to leave my then 3-year-old energetic Labrador, Casco, with Jeffrey multiple times—and every single time, he went above and beyond in ways I never expected. Not only did Jeffrey provide exceptional care, but he truly loved Casco like his own. On more than one occasion, I came home to find that Jeffrey had thoughtfully purchased things for Casco, like a comfort blanket and a better water dispenser, just because he knew they’d improve Casco’s experience and ease any anxiety while I was away. He never asked to be reimbursed or mentioned the effort—he simply cared, and it was all due to his love for Casco and dogs in general. Jeffrey would also take Casco on nice walks and the walk would be for Casco and no one else. If Casco wanted to stop and sniff for a while, he would, or if he wanted to walk at a slower pace, that was great too! It was never about just trying to "check the box" of taking him out, it was an opportunity for them to bond together and for Casco to enjoy his time outdoors. Casco was always over the moon excited to see Jeffrey. Their bond was obvious, and it gave me incredible peace of mind knowing that my dog was not only safe and well cared for, but genuinely happy. I'm a believer that you can often times tell whether a dog loves being around a certain person, and this was undoubtedly the case. Even though we now live in different locations, Jeffrey still checks in to see how Casco is doing. That’s the kind of person he is—thoughtful, compassionate, and fully invested in your pet’s well-being. I cannot recommend Jeffrey highly enough. He’s detail oriented, intuitive, and deeply committed to understanding and meeting your dog’s unique needs. And beyond all of that, he’s just an outstanding human being. Your pet will be lucky to have him in their life!”

Emily C.
“I have known Emily since she was very young. She has always loved animals and one of the most responsible people I know. She's very calm and gentle. I would highly recommend her.”

Tori R.
“Ever since i have first met Tori, she has been a responsible and supportive friend to all animals and people. When me and my family first asked her to watch over our two dogs Jem and Jax, she was excited and very involved with what had to be done while we were away. This wasn’t an easy task for any dog sitter, because our dogs require extra care, especially when one of our dogs is diabetic and blind. This would mean that she would then have to give our little Jem special care, including feeding her at certain times of the day, so that it wouldn’t mess with her feeding patterns, and giving her insulin at the exact time too. Jem also wears a diaper, so Tori had to be changing that too on top of the basic care of the dogs. She is an incredibly caring and loving person and i would recommend her for any pet endeavor. She payed attention to our dogs and gave them the care and support that they needed while we were away. She is an excellent choice for all things pet world!!! I highly recommend and we will be having her again in the future.”

Nicholas D.
“Nick has been a great dog sitter for my pup. He is kind and reliable. He sent many pictures to keep me in the loop with what my girl was up to. You can tell he loves animals by the way he interacted with my dog. I would recommend him to anybody if they need pet care.”

Maggie T.
“I have known Maggie most of her life and she has always been drawn to animals. One can tell she has a great love for them. This was clear with her love of and attention to family pets, in conversations over the years, trips to the zoo, and her care for my family pets when we were away. Recently, I witnessed a conversation with Maggie and her dad in regards to training dogs. Maggie was caring for her sister’s dog, Rupert. We were in public and Rupert wanted to bark. Maggie patiently and attentively worked with him. I am always confident that our animals will be responsibly and lovingly cared for when Maggie is in charge, including the care of a head strong dog and very timid cat. In recent years Maggie has impressed me with her compassion and ease of communicating with others and the responsible young adult she has become.”

“Allie has been taking care of her family dogs her entire life, and currently has a Newfoundland and a Golden Retriever. She loves dogs and is a great caregiver to them. She's often watched my dog for me, one dealing with anxiety and she does so well with her being patient, caring, and a calming presence. We joke that she is a dog whisperer! She is very responsible, and I'd trust any pet in her care.”
