About: “Good enough” care isn’t good enough for your pet. You deserve someone who communicates, follows through, and doesn’t treat your pet like a side hustle. Someone invested in keeping your pet safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. And the experience to do it even in unexpected circumstances. As the pet parent to a medical fragile dog myself, I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with the furry members of your family. I’m a lifelong dog person and a first-time Rover-er, but not new to responsible, informed care. I have hands-on experience and professional training in leash skills, fear-free methods, enrichment, and working with anxious, spicy, or high-energy pups. I work from home and have a flexible weekday schedule. I’m fully available for walks and drop-ins Monday through Friday before 4pm. I also have some evening and weekend availability (just check the calendar). Once we’ve gotten to know each other, I do offer house sitting and boarding for existing clients who need ongoing support. These days I live with a clingy rescue pit and the occasional foster dog. I volunteer regularly at RACC, walking dogs of every size, breed, and temperament—from skittish lapdogs to 100-lb giants trying to live out their sled-dogs fantasies. I’ve completed training in dog handling and behavior, and I have plenty of experience with pups who need a little extra patience, skill-building, or positive-reinforcement structure. Whether your dog needs routine and predictability, leash training, desensitization, enrichment, or just a cozy check-in and some companionship, I tailor care to fit them (and you). Communication is a big deal to me You’ll always know how things are going, and yes, there will be photo updates. Possibly too many. You’ve been warned. If you’re looking for someone who shows up, tunes in, and gives your dog the love they deserve while you’re away. I’m your person. Can’t wait to meet your good boy or girl (or little menace with a personal vendetta against the Amazon driver). I work part-time with a lot of weekday flexibility, especially before 4 pm. Some evening and weekend availability too. If possible, I'd love to meet your pup before we become best friends. Your dog’s care is always tailored to their personality, needs, and your preferences. If they thrive on routine, we’ll stick to their neighborhood route like clockwork. If they need leash practice, we’ll focus on skills. If they need more mental stimulation, I’ve got enrichment exercises, training games, and treat puzzles ready to go. If your dog needs exposure and socialization, we can head to a public park for controlled distance desensitization and positive reinforcement. And if they’ve got energy to burn, we’ll hit the trails for a hike that leaves us both happily exhausted. For drop-in visits, I can keep things chill or playful but always structured. I’m happy to work on crate manners, polite doorway exits, and other small habits that make a big difference. Or we can just hang out. Cuddles (if that’s their vibe), companionship, a good sniff around the yard, and a reminder that even when you’re away, someone still loves them a lot. Safety is always my top priority. Your dog will never be off-leash outside the home, and they’ll always be supervised, even if we’re just doing yard zoomies or sunbathing like royalty.

About: I have had animals my entire life. I currently have 2 cats of my own; Binx and Luci. I have 10+ years of dog and cat sitting experience. I am an animal lover and want to take care of your pets so you won’t have to worry! My own cat has medical issues so I am comfortable giving oral medications to pets. I can also do house sitting things like watering plants, getting the mail, etc… I would love to care for your pets! **I am a teacher and have open availability in June and July but my schedule will change come August so I cannot do mid day drops in long term!** I am a teacher and have my summers and breaks off and would love to spend them taking care of your pets! I can also intermittently dog walk or pet sit during the school year. I am incredibly responsible and respectful. I am also a huge animal lover and know how to care for animals. I have a high standard for who takes care of my pets and I promise to deliver the same level of care I would expect for my own pets!

About: I grew up around all sorts of different dogs, and I love to play with them. Whether it's a walk, a brushing, or just want me to hang out with them, I'm the girl for you! I will say that I am quite small myself so if your dog is 70+ lbs and/or strong then you may be better finding a different sitter 😅 I am not very strong haha I'm currently between jobs so this allows me to be free basically whenever you need me to be! Plus, this allows me to better create a schedule around your needs :) I will do whatever is needed of me. If you need me for house sitting, I have my own activities to keep me occupied, so no worries about me being nosy :)

About: I first began pet-sitting with dogs & cats around my neighborhood when I was 11, and since then I’ve met a wide array of pet personalities that I’ve learned to handle with the utmost care and respect. I’m a college student working part-time this summer, so I have plenty of time to spend taking care of furry friend(s)! My availability is open on the weekends, as well as Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Although I’m typically busy Tuesday and Thursday evenings, I can shift my schedule around to accommodate your pet’s needs. I have a sweet Calico named Mimi at home who I love to brush and feed daily, with special attention devoted to her diet and litter since she has a medical condition. About: Hi! My name is Kat and I have fostered dogs over the last decade. My senior dog, Daisy, is a foster failure. I just fell in love with her chill personality. My puppy, Luna (my little lunatic), is another rescue! Both of my pups play well with others and would love to meet your loved one(s). I have cleaned up more pee, poop, and vomit than I thought I would over the last ten years! Your dog(s) will be in excellent care when hanging out with me. I'm not afraid to get my paws dirty. I'm currently in the midst of changing careers from non-profit marketing work to social work! I'm a full time student (again) and have major flexibility to take care of your loved ones! I live in a second-story apartment in Carytown with access to an unfenced backyard area that's great for quick potty breaks. For longer walks, I love exploring the walkable, dog-friendly streets of Carytown—it's one of my favorite ways to bond with pups! I'm also just a five-minute drive from Barker Field Dog Park, which is a fantastic space for safe, off-leash play if that's something your dog enjoys (with your permission, of course). At home, I prioritize making pets feel comfortable and loved, whether that means sticking to their usual routine, offering lots of snuggles, or making time for play. My two dogs are friendly and love spending time with other dogs, so if your pup is social, they’ll feel right at home.

About: I'm Recently retired, I've owned and cared for pets most of my natural life. From house training to hospice care, I've lived thru it all. Freshly retired, I've got lots of free time to care for your pets. I'm looking forward to meeting and caring for your awesomely precious pet! I have a large fenced in yard and one very friendly mini- Dachshund. I consider pets to be family members, and always treat them as such.

About: I have always had pets growing up from dogs of different sizes to bunnies and bird. Recently I have been taking care of my dog Dutch. He suffered from seizures all his life, so I have experience in bigger dogs and one with health issues. I have full availability. It may change due possibly picking up a part time job as I am preparing for a year long college course. Putting my dog through behavioral courses has helped me with heel training. So walking dogs of any size won't be an issue for me. Especially with it being so hot recently making sure the asphalt isn't too hot and not keeping dogs out for too long.
