About: I'm an animal lover, and have had many pets (turtle, hamster, guinea pig, and even a ferret) throughout my life. I consider myself to be very motherly and I've enjoyed caring for many dogs including my family and friends' ones. Becoming a dog parent changed my life. After adopting Kip by myself when he was just 3 months old, I very much understand the joys and struggles of raising and training a puppy. I also know that having a dog is like having a toddler, and hope to be able to help others on their parenting journey. I'm very active in the community, and part of a group of dog parents in Harlem (Jackie's Home Run) whose goal is to support the nearby park, its pups, and its pawrents with social connection, education, and information about local dog resources. When we're not socializing outside, Kip and I both love to host play dates at home. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule. I'm out and about in the area, going for a walk or enjoying playtime with my dog, multiple times a day. I always walk with a fanny pack (including essentials + a first aid kit), and a Birdie alarm for safety. I'm very familiar with my area and I know many of the dog owners in the neighborhood. At home, my space is clean, dog-proofed, and has a pet camera for security.

Justin was an all around great sitter. He took excellent care of our senior dog, following all of our care instructions, taking great care to not over exert our dog on the extremely hot summer days, and even helping our furbaby make a few new dog friends. His building had a wonderful dog park that our dog looked forward to each day. And, Justin provided us with daily photos and updates that warmed our hearts and faded any concerns. Would certainly use his services again and highly recommend Justin!
April was a truly wonderful caretaker for our dog Millie. She sent regular photos and updates and I could tell that MIllie was having a good time and felt at home. Whenever I sent a question along, April would answer immediately - that was extremely comforting. I ran into some issues around my return back to NYC and was delayed. Despite the fact she had a lot on her plate, she worked hard to help me in a stressful situation and was incredibly flexible despite the fact she had impending commitments. I recommend April 100% - and more! Millie came home calm, content, and very happy.

Ariadna was amazing with our older dog. He's a bit tempermental and not great with other dogs but Ariadna was very calm and patient with him. She sent us pictures and updates daily, and even offered to take him to the vet when she thought he had a UTI. I highly recommend Ariadna and I would definitely use her again the next time we go out of town.
Jennifer was great with our 13 y.o. dog for 3 days. Our dog can be a bit wary of new environments, but she seemed comfortable in Jennifer’s care. We appreciated the timely updates and how she communicated any concerns right away. The first day is always an adjustment, but Jennifer was understanding and accommodating. We’ll definitely be requesting her services again!
Working with Frances was the best! I really appreciated her responsiveness to my messages as well as all the pics and updates she sent throughout my pups stay with her. Yarisbel was an absolute angel. Our family has been with Haze since we have rescued him and we were unsure about him being away from home for a couple of days but Yarisbel made it completely comfortable. From communication to the photos we have had the best experience with having a pup away from home. During the initial video call, Yarisbel was in tune with asking about all the requirements for Haze while he was with her. She was so comforting and encouraging with Haze when he 1st arrived at her home. Her family was also so nice and accommodating for Haze as well. Haze now has a 3rd brother (lol) at Yarisbel home. We love the attention to detail when it came to her and her family caring for Haze and we will definitely be in contact with Yarisbel via rover whenever we need to do a boarding again. Our dog's recent visit with Katrina was the first time we have worked with her. We are very happy with Katrina. She took care of our large dog for four days in her home. We received plenty of photos of our dog enjoying her time with Katrina. Drop off and pick up were easy and exactly as arranged. No issues at all.
Victoria’s home is a place where I know my doggie will be well loved and cared for. She understands dogs well and is very attentive to their personalities and needs. Enelle blended seamlessly into the household with Apollo who’s a big, gentle love. With frequent pictures of walks in the park, playtime and relaxing time, though I missed my doggie but I never worried about her. Will definitely ask Victoria to board again.
Had to leave town last minute for a family emergency and my usual dog sitter wasn’t available, so I last minute booked with Leidy and I have no regrets! The sweetest and most understanding caretaker in the world, and went above and beyond to make sure my Tofu was comfortable and taken care of (even though he can be a bit of a troublemaker.) She made sure I was aware and in the loop and made all of my worries disappear. Would instantly book her again with no hesitation!
