“Jennifer is amazing!! It’s my first time using Rover for my puppy and she put all my nerves at ease. She sent daily pictures and updates which I really appreciated. Noodle can’t wait to go back! Thank you again Jennifer!”

“Dan and Denise are awesome. Our two dogs spent two days with them and they had a great time. Dan's text updates and videos were greatly appreciated and really put us at ease - the dogs were having a blast running around the huge yard and then resting comfortably in the house. By day two they boys were so excited to be going back there that they pretty much dragged me to their front door and excitedly greeted Dan. Dan and Denise treated the boys as though they were their own beloved companions, I can't say enough good about them and will definitely be using their services again, (-:”

“We had such an amazing experience with Veronique! She took excellent care of our golden retriever Kennedy. We were provided frequent updates with photos and video and the communication was so easy. Veronique was very quick in getting back to us which was great. Kennedy had such a fun time and we would love to have Kennedy return! Highly recommend!”

“Catherine is reliable and flexible! We love taking our puppy, Cece, to her home. She is always excited to see the other dogs at daycare. I am so grateful to have someone like Catherine close by to take great care of my puppy. She has watched her from a really young age and I could tell she was so diligent in keeping her safe. Thanks Catherine!”

Your pet will always get treated like family in my home with lots of love and belly rubs. I look forward to working with your pet soon :) I am free all summer, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for boarding, dog walking, doggy day care and walks. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I provide plenty of chew toys to help stimulate their minds.

Matt always kept us updated with pictures throughout her stay and gave us feedback on how she did. I highly recommend him as your next dog sitter!”

Thank you so much, would definitely use her in the future and recommend her before anyone in the area! Luna came home a happy tired pup from a full day of action.”

About: New to Rover but not new to pet-sitting. I have had pets or been around animals my entire life (including puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, fish, rabbits, and birds) and they have always been considered a part of the family. I love every pet as if they’re my own- prepare for the custody battle 😅. lol jk. In all seriousness, your pets comfort is important to me and I am confident they will feel right at home. I have experience with puppies and all the beautiful challenges that come with that stage, as well as senior care. I have also had experience with adopting my own dog with reactive tendencies which has made me hyper aware of the importance of dogs social cues both with animals and people, and reading their body language/boundaries. Safety for all parties involved is always my top priority. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. Walks availability: Anytime Sun-Tues, (Wed-Sat hours fluctuate, will need to discuss exact needs.) Doggy daycare availability: Anytime Sun-Sat (if pick-up/drop-off needed will need to discuss availability in more depth.) Boarding availability: Anytime Sun-Sat (if pick-up/drop-off needed will need to discuss availability in more depth.) I currently have boarding slots set up to 4 at a time but feel free to contact me regarding specific availability needs. For example, does your pet require an environment without other animals? Do you have 2 dogs but 3 cats? Based on your pets specific needs, we can discuss alternate solutions. I do require meet & greets for any new clients to ensure it’s a good fit and safety requirements are met for all. We can discuss what works best for your pet. As long as animal is house broken and properly trained, I am flexible with crate/uncrated visits/boarding. My apartment complex is dog friendly but unfenced so would require on leash walks. Property also includes fenced in dog area, or I am open to dog park runs if that is your preference. If scheduling crated boarding, will need to provide own crate.

“Amber was very accommodating and communicative. Buster had a great time interacting with her dogs and got to go on a nice walk. We will definitely use her services again in the future!”

About: My husband and I grew up with dogs and have loved and cared for many over the years including our first doggy child, Molly. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge and although we’re not quite ready yet for a new dog, we’re happy to share our built up puppy love to provide a safe and loving environment while you’re away. At our home, all dogs become part of our family and I will reinforce any behaviors you maintain in your own home. But if your pet is used to couch cuddles they’ll get the same thing here! They’ll have all of the love and comforts of home that cannot be matched by any traditional boarding place, while receiving personal attention as they’re in space where they’ll be the only dog. It’s a change for your dog to go from one home to a new one. However, I find that having a home with no personal pets and no other boarders helps to ease the transition and get them acclimated quickly. I work from home full time so your pet would have nearly 24/7 care. It makes me so happy to be able to spend my workday with a fuzzy friend! You’d be aware of all times where I wouldn’t be home but this typically does not exceed 2 hours. When the weather is nice, the family and I try to be out as much as possible and will always bring your dog along for the fun! I enjoy getting out for walks several times a day to stretch out my legs after extensive periods behind a desk. If your dog is up for it, then I’m happy to get to bring them on my walks! I have a large, fenced yard with a designated “potty” area. There are no other pets in the home so even the most anti social of pups are welcomed here. Since I work from home, I’m able to accommodate almost any feeding, medication or bathroom schedule and provide lots of cuddles! I care about the safety and wellness of your pet above all else and have been certified in pet CPR and first aid. If your dog will be joining us in the car, I have a harness for their safety while traveling.

About: My family love pets specially my little 9 years old, we are looking to help pet parents whenever they need support with their loved pet. We understand pets are important family members and that is exactly why I take this responsibility seriously, with me you can rest assure your pet will be under good care! As of the moment we count with full availability. I say we because I can take care of your pet or my mother who lives with me. I live in a condo , the building is pet friendly and has a huge park across the street where I can take your pet for their needs and to unwind with a nice walk.

“As always, Bo had a fun afternoon at John’s! To be honest, John is the only sitter I feel safe and comfortable leaving Bo . He KNOWS Bo, he KNOWS dogs , no matter what type or the personality of your dog , he knows how to handle them ! Bo is high energy, wants a lot of attention, loves to play …..and John figured him out after day one ! Not everyone can handle that combination…John 100% does . He is definitely a true dog whisperer and Bo adores him …”

About: I have experience taking care of my own dog Finn (a yellow lab), past clients from Rover, and family member's pets. When I've volunteered for the GDF, I helped train puppies in my home to be guide dogs for the blind. I am also a veterinary assistant at the Smithtown Village Animal Hospital. Here, I have gained sufficient exposure in handling and caring for various breeds of both dogs and cats. I earned a bachelor's degree in biology on a pre-vet track from Boston University. I plan on continuing my education to earn a DVM. My availability is all day Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Wednesdays and Saturdays I am available after work (5pm - Wednesdays and 2pm - Saturdays). I have a fenced yard and a 10 year old friendly yellow lab who is good with other dogs.
