“From the first meet and greet Marina was brilliant putting myself and Loulou at ease she walked with getting to know us and allowing Loulou to become comfortable with her. When we dropped Lou with her she allowed us to be comfortable that she was settled and happy before we took our leave. Marina updated us regularly with email, text, photos and videos informing us of Loulou’s day and what they had been doing. Having boarded Lou in a kennel previously which was not a good experience having Marina care for Lou was a pleasure her frequent updates and photos meant we had no concerns and enabled us to enjoy and relax into our trip. When we collected Lou she was obviously very happy and content her tail wagging and she was wandering around as if she owned the place so different from when we collected her from a kennel. Cannot thank Marina enough for all the care and updates she provided would wholeheartedly recommend and I know Loulou will happily visit again which is the best recommendation. Thanks again Marina from the family x”

“Our dog xena has only been looked after by friends and family non of which are animal owners. So this was the first time xena had stayed anywhere other than home I was so worried, worried she would feel abandoned & not familiar with the new surroundings. I went away and to my horror my phone wouldn’t work so I had no communication on how she was doing. As soon as I landed home and my phone started working I received all these amazing photos & videos of xena and what an amazing time she was having with Lisa and her partner without a thought for us. I rushed to pick her up and she was so excited just as exited as I was, she has slept for the first day an a half I guess from all the excitement of all the activities she had done over the week with Lisa . I guessing there was lots of ball throwing, that’s All she seems to want to do since being home. I know she had the time of her life at Lisa’s and I would highly recommend her services. Thanks Lisa we will be in touch soon and Xena sends a big thank you. Xxx”

“Slade had the best stay with Kayleigh and was super chilled and happy when we collected him. Kayleigh had clearly understood his quirky personality and accommodated him perfectly! Would love Slade to stay again.”

“No words to describe how wonderful Aleksandra is. She really took great care of our dog. He stayed with her for 8 days and she updated us everyday with pictures and videos which was really assuring. She was flexible throughout and we are really glad we found a good home for our dog when we are away next time. Would definitely recommend her.”

“My fur babies had an absolutely wonderful time! Kirsty and her lovely family were incredibly accommodating, even with our very last minute booking, we’re so grateful she was able to fit us in. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies. Thank you so much, Cookie and Cream had the best time with you, as always. We’ve already booked our next visit and are counting down the days. Can’t wait to see you again soon!”

“Wendy is a fantastic sitter. My puppy loves being here for day care and boarding. My puppy stayed overnight for the first time and even though she was anxious Wendy was brilliant with her.”

About: I offer care and experience with long walks and garden time for happy, exercised pooches plus snoozing in the sun or by the fire. I am an illustrator so working from home part time, allowing for lots of outside time which is key for my own dog Ted who is very chilled and great for puppies to learn from. I'm confident with dogs of all ages and competent when out and about. Happy to let them off the lead if you are. We have a lovely sunny kitchen with sunbathing spots even in winter, space in front of the fire and we are in and out the garden all day. I have lots of local long walks and swimming spots too. They have space and can cuddle up together or have solo time if preferred. We live on a quiet country lane and have plenty of room for adventures. I've looked after friends dogs for years too and it works well for our family. Standard day is up and out at 8.30am, drop the kids at school in the village and then straight for a very long stomp in our gorgeous local countryside. I do a range of walks in woods, fields, hills, riverside etc. sometimes with fellow walkers so the dogs socialise a lot. Then home for snoozes in the sun or by the fire and at least a few days each week I’m gardening so they are out with me in the garden. Followed by an early afternoon walk too before collecting the kids and then home for play time. We are a busy, dog family home and they get lots of attention from the whole family. The kids are dog friendly and my husband is a dog lover too. I’m an illustrator working from home so this fits wonderfully with dog care. We have a terrier who is an escape artist so have a solid garden boundary even for the most determined pooch. We have a stone floor in the kitchen if accidents happen, large garden for playing and your dog can go out as often as they like as I work in the kitchen so they are never alone. Dogs sleep downstairs and we are up at 7am daily. We live on a quiet lane outside a village so drive to walks and then once we are home they have plenty of room.

“Crystal was an absolute star, she looked after Suzie for 2 days, and sent a few messages to let me know how Suzie was and when we picked Suzie up she looked like she had a lovely time and she was happy. I would definitely have Crystal again to look after Suzie”

I’m confident with feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, grooming, giving meds, and spending quality time—whether that’s playtime or just keeping them company. I’ll treat your cat like family and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 As a full-time flight attendant, my schedule can be flexible and often includes stretches of time off between trips. During those days at home, I love dedicating my time to pet care. It’s the perfect way to unwind and reconnect. I’m fully present when I’m with the pets I care for—whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a pet owner’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. In the owner’s home, I make sure to respect their space and keep things clean and tidy, just as they left it. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while you’re away.
