“I was in Brighton for the summer from America. My dog has severe separation anxiety and very reactive to other dogs. I needed help over the summer with walks and a few evenings. I found James and he and Norrin hit is off immediately. James did small things that gave me a sense he was the right fit - like removing his hat when he first met Norrin in case that spooked him. Well they made a great friendship over the summer! They walked 4 times a week - Newley 150 miles - through ran and shine! Every time Norrin came back, he was super happy and ready for a nap! Norrin is selective with who he likes - but when he saw James at the door - it was all tail wags and excitement! I trusted James completely not only with my dog but also my house. He is kind, compassionate and loves dogs! I not only recommend him as a dog owner but also as a veterinarian. We look forward to next summer when they can resume their bromance!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was four and have always loved having animals around but unfortunately don’t have a cute furry friend of my own. I’ve also looked after cows and goats…. Bizzare I know and I’m sure you have some questions about that! I love animals and definitely would love some furry friends to look after and keep me company. I usually end up taking them out 3 or 4 sometimes even 5 times a day as I go out for little walks often in between writing and the dogs love a good cuddle whilst I write and I also have plenty of time to play with them too! I’m a freelance writer so I can write around other responsibilities and am looking to dog sit, board and walk as much as possible! This is handy as I can be available any time of the day that you need for collection and drop off etc. I live in a flat on the fourth floor but it’s right next to hove lawns and the beach so very useful for fun walks! I usually take them out a minimum of 4 times a day!

“Mehr took care of my dog a few times and him being a mid sized dog, he had a lot of energy to expend. She took great care of him and even went above what I had asked her of looking after him by taking him on a long walk around the neighborhood- exactly what he needed:) Overall a great carer and knowledgeable”

“Roxy is every fury friends best pal! My Cavapoo Rupert Bear has stayed with Roxy on several occasions… including a last minute getaway when I was having my first baby. Roxy was on hand to have Rupert and he absolutely loved his last minute trip!Rupert is loved beyond belief, gets lots of walks, 1000’s of ball throws and a lot of belly rubs.
