About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and at a young age was entrusted with the care of neighbors friends and families pets. I haven't met an animal yet that I couldn't win over and make them my friend! I adore animals, and they love me! Pet care is my life. The majority of my day is devoted to animal care. This is a farm, so a few hours a day devoted to farm chores, but the rest of the day is devoted to the pets in my care. There are trails and a creek, so we go for walks and the occasional swim. There are also wide open pastures that are great for a game of chase or fetch. My home is set up for any kind of care. At our home; your animal will be made to feel at home. There are crates if your pet is more comfortable this way. At your home; time will be spent socializing with your pet, play, cuddling, story time, and feeding.

I personally have a Rottweiler, black lab and rough collie and have raised cows and pigs my whole life. I love animals of all sizes! I can be flexible with times and am able to do early mornings and late nights! I currently work 10am-6pm which allows me to be free in the mornings and in the evenings , often when others are not available for pet care. I treat any and all animals as I would my own, with love and respect! Depending on what I am there for I will make sure all animal needs are met. If I am there for a drop in visit, I will make sure they get adequate play time, attention and make sure they have plenty of food/water before leaving.
About: I've had animals since I was little, cats, dogs, reptiles, ferrets, and I've loved them all as if they were my children, specific dietary or exercise needs is no problem for me. A pet to me is a part of the family. I'm currently working part time, available Monday through Friday on most weeks, I'll house sit for up to a week and a half. I currently don't have a license because of covid slowing me down, but I am working on it and someone can drop me off at the location. I have a fenced backyard and my childhood dog had many issues later on in life so dietary or medication is no issue for me. The family dog I have now is the most stubborn dog I have ever met, having to work with him has taught me how to deal with stubborn or slightly aggressive dogs.

We both work long shift work in Baltimore that overlaps and had no idea what to do. We found Amanda who’s been awesome, always so friendly and willing to help out, even with our odd and random requests of times based on shift work. Quick to respond and she treats Mosby like he’s her own dog. We’re so happy to have found her.”

Giving medicine and other pet care is not always an easy task, but I’m always up for the challenge! I’m currently available any time after 3:30 on weekdays and anytime on the weekend but I am looking to be a lot more flexible Monday-Friday in the near future. Right now I have one cat and dog. My dog needs medicine in her eyes three times a day and is sensitive to most people. My cat is an indoor only cat but is able to go out in our closed in patio when the weather permits. They eat at the same time twice a day, half a can of wet food for each.
