About: Hi! My name is Gianna, and I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I’m currently an aspiring veterinary student at Saint Francis University, where I’ve had the opportunity to shadow several veterinarians and learn firsthand what it means to care for animals with compassion and skill. While at SFU, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter, walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Most of my pet-sitting experience comes from caring for my own family’s dogs and cats, but I’m excited to branch out and help other pet owners, too! As a college athlete, I’m used to staying active—and strong enough to handle even the most enthusiastic big dogs on walks. I get my schedule around 4 days before the next week. I understand that each animal has a different personality so some may need more of a specific thing rather than another. I follow instructions given to me by the owners very carefully. Whether that is a feeding time, medication, walks, or going outside to the bathroom. I am very organized so being in your home, I will keep it neat. I love to send pictures to the owners because as an owner I would enjoy seeing mine.

About: Along with having 3 English bulldogs of my own, I’ve cared for other people’s pets for over 10 years. I’m comfortable with any breed and type, from large to small! My dogs are family, and I will treat yours as one of my own. Giving them all the care and attention that our fur children require! I work a full time job, but have flexibility during the work days, and after 5pm work hours. I’m also available all weekend for drop ins or walking! About: I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 8 years. I can give medications. Both oral and injectable. I’ve taken care of very young to geriatric pets. I enjoy working with all of them I’m working part time at a general practice animal hospital. The days I am off I would like to help people have a piece of mind that their pet is in good care I am only doing drop in visits for now. I would like to do initial meet and greets to make sure your pet gets used to who I am and why I’m there. It’s all about making them feel comfortable and still confident.

I have experience looking after pets of friends and family while they're out of the house for the past 5 years. I have a great deal of patience in training and caring for animals. I'm currently available on weekends, with Fridays most preferred. I work fulltime Monday through Thursday so at the moment those days are going to remain unavailable. About: I grew up on a farm. My parents were both vets and worked with horses. I grew up in a household were our first priority was our animals. We’ve had a hand full of animals but dogs are my favorite! Also, I have a German Shepherd/ English Mastiff. I took him through basic and advanced obedience training and a little bit of scent work. Besides having dogs my entire life, I also previously worked at a Doggie Daycare & boarding facility and have house sitting/pet sitting clients that have been with me from the start of my pet sitting career starting 18 years ago. I enjoy all puppies whether they are large or small, young or old. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds and do not turn away any breed. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops, insulin (as well as testing before meals), and preparing meals for EPI dogs. I look forward to connecting with you! I do prefer to stay within a 7 mile radius of my location, an additional fee $5 per visit/day will be added for those bookings greater than a 7 mile radius. I have open availability on the weekends and flexibility during the week. I currently work in Allegheny county right off of Rt. 51 so I am able to travel to all areas with ease. I am typically scheduled 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday but experience cancellations throughout the week where I’m typically home before 4pm. Leaving my morning availability open, possibility for mid day potty breaks when I experience cancellations, and my afternoon/evening open for walks, drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting duties. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I like to stick to the pet’s routine to avoid any changes in their typical schedule. I take extra precautions when it comes to open doors, ensuring they are correctly and safely in their crate when applicable, and accompanying them when outside for potty breaks. Safety is my number one priority as I know it would be devastating if any accidents were to happen and I am proactive in covering all the bases to ensure that they do not.
