1. Maxine S.
“Maxine is wonderful! I was nervous about the idea of dropping off my fur baby with a stranger for a week but Maxine really cares about the animals she dogsits. From the moment I started texting her I knew she was the one I could feel comfortable leaving my Bella with. Not only did she give Bella her meds and keep up with her feeding schedule and potty breaks, she loved her as if she was her pet. She cuddled with her and took several super adorable photos and shared them with me throughout the week. I would absolutely call Maxine again to look after Bell for me and know she was loved and taken care of. This route is 1000× better than using a boarding service especially for my pom that needs love and attention. Bella enjoyed her time with Maxine. Thank you for everything, Maxine! 😍 ❤️”
2. Nicole M.

“Sean was great! It was my first time using the Rover app so I was nervous but Sean was a great match for watching my puppy. She was communicative and sent me pictures whenever I asked. Spud came back to me looking healthy and happy as ever! Will def be using Sean again in the future if I ever need a sitter again :)”

7. Jocelyn B.
“Jocelyn was fantastic! Augusta liked her right away (she can be a bit snobby when it comes to new people). We got picture updates all the time, which we loved, and when we needed to extend an extra day Jocelyn was very accommodating and helpful. She will be the first one we contact when we need some one to watch and love on our Augusta again.”
8. Hermun P.
“Hermun was AWESOME! My dog Periwinkle loved staying with her and didn't want to leave. Her beagle Max was such a beautiful and fun-loving companion for my beagle, making her feel right at home. Hermun was so flexible and kind. She sent me happy pictures throughout Periwinkle's stay, making me feel like I made the best choice in picking her. I would highly recommend Hermun as dog sitter. She made the weekend wonderful. 5 stars! No...make that 10 stars!”

“Morgan is the top sitter that we had so far on Rover. Gisele had a blast at her house with her dog Chloe. They played well together. I knew she was in good hand because Morgan is caring. She has updated me throughout my trip which I truly appreciated. Again, thank you and Gisele can’t wait to go back to your place 😊👌. 10/10 would recommend!”

14. Matt V.
“I highly recommend Matt. He took great care of our pup. He met up with us before our dog stayed with him for a meet and greet. I thought that was awesome and showed that he cared about the well being of our pup and that they got along well before her stay. During her time with him he kept is well updated on how she was doing. Overall very good experience and will rebook again with him when the time comes. Thanks Matt!”

Which Tampa neighborhoods are best for dog owners?
No matter where you go in Tampa, you'll find loving pet owners looking for the best for their pups. Hampton Terrace Historic District, originally called Lakewood Manor Subdivision, is a quiet residential area covering 1,150 acres, including the scenic Lake Roberta in its bounds. Conveniently close to downtown, Hyde Park is another great neighborhood to settle down in, encompassing Hyde Park Village and SoHo. It's bordered by Bayshore Boulevard, known for its gently curving greenway and skyline views - it also happens to be the world's longest sidewalk! Great for a sunny stroll with your pup. Known now as a gourmet dining destination, Seminole Heights is home to two-time James Beard Nominee The Refinery, along with Independent Bar & Cafe, and Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe. Tampa Heights is one of the oldest and most diverse neighborhoods in Tampa, including historic buildings like the Tampa Free Library and new renovations like Water Works Park. It's bounded by the Hillsborough River and covers about 3.5 square miles. Another historic Tampa neighborhood is West Tampa, featuring delicious Colombian cuisine and old cigar factories that speak to the area's roots and cultural history. Founded in the 1880's, Ybor City was originally populated almost entirely by immigrants and earned the nickname "Cigar City" as it grew. Today, you can learn about its rich history at the Cigar Museum and Visitor Center, Ybor City Museum State Park, and TECO Line Streetcar Museum.
What dog parks in Tampa should are great for a walk?
Spend the day with your dog at one of Tampa's beautiful dog parks. Like Logan Gate Dog Park, which features kiddie pools in both the large and small dog areas to help your pup cool off on a hot day. Plus, dogs can work off some excess energy in the agility courses available. Be sure to bring some sunscreen to Davis Island Dog Park, where your pup can enjoy a day at the beach. If they're not that into waves and sand, there's room for romping in the regular dog area in this laid-back, fun park for humans and their canine companions. Looking for a dog park that has it all? Check out the well-maintained Rowlett Dog Park. There's plenty of shade, a dog obstacle course, separate small dog area, and even a public restroom nearby. If your dog likes room to roam, head over to Al Lopez Park, which covers approximately 132 acres including a nature trail, freshwater pond, dedicated dog park area, and a community center to visit.
