About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 34 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer from April to October. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting a place with other people so I would have to go to their home. I am very attentive and can play with them in the yard or whatever is asked.

About: I have worked with a variety of pets from cats and dogs to exotics like lizards and snakes. I am more than happy to help with all pet care needs, from puppy pads to pills, and maybe even a scaly friend or two. :) I work 8-5 Sat-Tues and 12-9 on Fri, but have Wednesday and Thursday off each week. If your furry friend needs a midday walk or some loving while you work I would be happy to stop in on my days off! Willing to adapt to your pets needs. Easy walk around the block? Absolutely! Roughhousing at the dog park? No problem! Every pet is different and needs attention that suits their care needs.

About: 🐱🐶 Animals have been my whole world my whole life! I have experience with a variety of animals from fish 🐠 to turtles🐢 as well as dogs🐕 and cats🐈‍⬛. I use positive reinforcement training techniques with our three rescue dogs and I use worship all cats techniques with our cats 😆. I am comfortable and familiar with the needs of puppies and kittens as well as senior animals. So medication💊 and physical therapy💪 exercises are something I am happy to provide! I went to college for animal behavior and animal sciences and have a degree in Ecology 🌎 I completed a 2 year course in wildlife rehabilitation. I will treat your animals as if they were my own and that means they get the utmost care and attention. 🫡 I will respect and follow whatever your babies' needs and preferences are as well as yours when it comes to them and to your space. 💓 We love taking our dogs on all sorts of outdoor adventures but safety is always our top priorty⛰️🦺! I am great at reading animals and understanding the different personalities and quirks they each have so I can provide them with the best care that works for them 🧐 Every animal is different but they all deserve our best! I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: I am a playful dog watcher and will always be engaged when your dog is in my care! I have experience training puppies as well as training dogs who are older and need some more guidance. Size of a dog doesn't matter, I have experience with dogs that are bigger than 110+ pounds and that are as tall as my waist. I have owned all different types of breeds and have knowledge about certain care some breeds might need. I have experience with labs, poodles, mastiffs, pugs, spaniels, terriers, greyhounds, pitbulls, and more. I am a local teacher and am very excited to watch awesome pups all summer! I am walking distance from downtown Bar Harbor! I also send dozens of photos all day to you :) Accomdating your pet into my schedule is a lot easier than one might assume! I work right in Bar Harbor! Just message me for availability! I thoroughly clean my space before your pets arrival and tidy up around so there will be no issues with accidental swallowing of random objects I am currently on summer vacation as a full time teacher! I am as free as a bird for the next month! I will begin full time teaching at the end of August and will only be available during after school hours starting at 4pm. About: I have 4 years of pet care experience professionally as well as lots of informal experience. I’m comfortable walking and sitting all kinds of dogs- different sizes, personality, and needs! I love animals and I love getting to know new dogs. I have experience with giving oral meds, working with reactive dogs, and not afraid to clean messes! I currently work Thursday-Saturday, but am available the other days of the week. I can work morning and evenings and I am flexible with scheduling I always ensure I have a secure grip on leashes so that they won’t slip out of my hand if a dog lunges or starts to run. I stay aware of my surroundings and monitor what’s on the ground and whether there are other dogs around. I am also happy to communicate with owners as much as they would like and give updates on their animals!

About: I love dogs (and cats) more than anything! I am happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day, overnight, while you are on vacation, or once in awhile for walks, hikes, check ins, at your place or mine! A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: I have 5+ years experience walking and sitting dogs, from miniature chihuahuas to 100-pound labradors and everything in between. I am available for walks, visits, and dog-sitting in your home/vacation rental. I’m available for walks and visits M T W Th F S after 2pm. I am able to do local overnight sitting any day including Sunday. When house-sitting in a client’s home I take care to make sure their dog has everything they need to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. On walks I always bring backup trash bags as well as snacks (with your approval) and I believe in letting dogs sniff for as long as they want. I also always keep dogs leashed (with the exception of off-leash trained dogs I've worked with for a long time, with owner permission) and practice safety when interacting with other dogs, people, or mysterious things on the ground.

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! I could be working any shift from 6:30-2:30, 7:30-4:30, 9:15-5:15, or 12:15-5:15. I am a new mom who is trying to make ends meet but working still isn’t helping because daycare is so expensive! I am really trying to pet sit part time or even full time! My weekends and holidays are always open except for the occasional family trips in the summer! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home so that means that your fur babies will be kept on a leash when taking them outside. Your fur babies will also be kept company by 2 friendly dogs and 2 friendly cats! I also have to crate one of my dogs so I can easily crate dogs if needed!

About: Hello! I’m originally from Virginia but am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and fall season! I have been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Some other facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your dog(s)! My work schedule is flexible and I’m not usually gone for longer than 3 to 4 hours. I’m a daily runner so I can take your dog on runs or long walks. I live near a pond where dogs can swim, and in general I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood that is suitable for all types of dogs.
