“My first impression of Emily was great because she responded almost immediately to a request for care of my three cats while we were away on short notice. I had booked boarding with the vet, but I knew my cats would be stressed sitting in a strange environment cooped up in a tiny cage for a week. Emily followed my instructions and sent a picture every day to let me know they were okay. I left treats and a brush and she indulged them in the last minutes of each daily visit. She came around the time she said she would be there each day and kept in contact with any questions and news as to how they were doing. I tremendously appreciated her being there to help us and would be happy to call her again the next time we needed pet sitting. Thank you, Emily!”

About: I have taken care of all different kinds of dogs from sizes and breeds since I was a kid. Throughout my life I’ve had several dogs all types of different breeds and sizes, from a mastiff to a miniature poodle. So, I have lots experience in dealing with dogs in different ranges with breed, size, and age. I also have experience with cats, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I am working full time currently, I am off on the weekends unless and normally completely free these days. I work during the day most days. I usually work evenings one day out of the week, tuesdays. I am very flexible outside of my time with work! I currently have a dog and 3 cats. With my dog we feed him in the morning and evening, throughout the day I usually play with my dog let him out to go potty, and a couple walks throughout the day to keep them moving. I also feed my cats morning and night and play with them throughout the day and clean their litter box in the evening.

“Stephanie is amazing! I'm almost afraid to leave a good review for fear she will get booked up and forget about Lola :) exactly the kind of care and commitment I was expecting. Yay!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and even chickens for more than 6 years! I’ve cared for pets for more than 15 families in the Valpo, Chesterton, and Crown Point areas. I love going for long walks and would be the perfect walking buddy for your dogs! I work remotely during the week, which allows me to be very present with your pets if you are gone on a trip. I work remotely full time, so I can be available any time during the day for overnight petsitting! I can be available in the mornings or late afternoons/evenings for dog walks. I don’t offer overnight stays for pets in my home, but I have a lot of experience petsitting and housesitting for families when they are gone on trips!

About: I have experiences with different breeds of dogs from Lhasa Apso to Great Danes! I’ve been trusted to watch and feed dogs for my neighbors, family friends, etc. for over 5 years and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t absolutely adore. I’m currently a student at the University of Dayton and am looking to earn some money to pay for my classes. I’m free every weekday after 12 pm, but want something more flexible than set hours as I still have to study for tests, do homework, etc. As I’m staying in University housing, I’m solely doing visits to client’s homes. I am a detail oriented person and will gain the trust of your pet before anything to ensure that they are comfortable with me being around. I will follow any directions given to me and will be transparent with any questions/concerns I may have about your pet.

“Patty G provided house visits for my cats for one week. I would use the words timely, professional, and caring to describe Patty. I would happily request her services again, she is a lifesaver.”

About: I love all animals but have just two cats myself. I’ve worked with both domesticated pets at vet hospitals to wild animals at rehab centers and nature centers in NWI. I’m happy to be someone you can trust with your furry family while you’re away! I work hybrid and have a lot of flexibility to my schedule. I can usually be available morning, noon and night! I can easily find a way to fit your needs to my schedule. I like to be active so walks and play time are big for me. If your pet is more into snoozing on the couch, we can make that work too! I’m great with medications if needed and very protective of my own pets so you can rest assured that I will let you know of any issues should they arise.

About: For most of my life I have worked with horses and forster animals, so I am super comfortable with more challenging pets! I have 2+ years of experience at a veterinary clinic and I currently work as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable administering medications including injectables such as insulin. Additionally, I am certified in pet first aid and CPR through ProPetHero. I will be back at Purdue in late August, and will soon provide details on my availability for care requests in the West Lafayette area. In a client’s home, I will always maintain your pet’s normal schedule to the best of my ability in order to reduce stress- offering walks, meals, medications if needed, and lots of attention. My background in veterinary medicine ensures your pet is in knowledgeable, caring hands at all times.

About: I've had my own dogs since I was 4, so I have years of hands-on experience caring for pets, understanding their needs, and ensuring they're happy and healthy. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to pet sitting, ensuring pets receive the attention and care they need throughout the day/week. I'll follow any specific instructions given by the pet owners, maintain a clean and safe environment, and make sure pets are comfortable and happy by sticking to their routines.

“Hannah is great! She was on time, sent updates, and pictures of Emma. She did everything we asked and she is so kind. I would recommend and will definitely book again with her.”

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life and have been trusted with family/friends pets for many years. I am very active and love to play and walk with pets as I have had border collies as family dogs. Having had many, I am familiar with dogs of all ages and understand how each pet differs from one another. I am in between jobs currently and, therefore, have a lot of time on my hands. This leaves a lot of space for pet care throughout the week when I am not traveling. I am willing to be at the client’s home as often as requested to care for the pet. I am very communicative and will send owner updates throughout their time away.

About: Hello! I am 18 years old, and am looking into pursuing a career in dog grooming. I'd love to be a part of your pets life, with whatever that may require. I am currently in Penn Foster online grooming class, and I have been grooming my own dogs and the dogs and cats in town and surrounding areas as practice for over 3 years. I have also interned with a service dog trainer, and have been pet sitting, both dogs and cats for a long time. I would be glad to assist in cleaning, bathing, grooming, and other tasks. Im really looking to continue growing my experience in the grooming and animal field in order to figure out what is best for my life time goals. My life is devoted mostly to the care and proper research of all of my pets. I love to help educate and help others with their pets as well. I follow instructions given by owners thoroughly, I take behavioral needs heavily into consideration, and I stay in communication as much as needed to ensure that pets are able to have a comfortable space to stay or excersize.

About: Hey there! My name is Kendyl. I’m new to Rover, but I’ve had pets my whole life and have been working with dogs professionally for about 6 years! I have experience working with fearful/reactive/aggressive dogs, so I am more than willing to work with any behavioral issues your pet may have. I also have basic dog training experience. I am currently in college as an Animal Health and Behavior major, so I am constantly learning new things about animals and animal care. I have another job that is fairly flexible with my hours, so caring for your pets on Rover is my top priority! I can always work around my schedule to accommodate things you might need. I will let out as often as you’d like. I am always down for cuddle time and love enrichment activities! I can feed special diets and administer oral medications as well. I am open to helping with anything and everything.

About: Hi! I have worked in an animal shelter as an animal care technician for nearly four years. I have taken care of hundreds (likely thousands) of dogs, from puppies to seniors. I have seen a surplus of different medical and behavioral issues as well. I feel comfortable with these! I know a ton about animals; their care, behavior, handling, and overall wellbeing! I have always loved animals and making sure they have what's best for them. I'm almost complete with my vet assistant certificate, too! I am currently taking some summer classes for school. I can usually work around these, as they do not take up my entire days time. I can easily assess dog behavior to ensure that both the dog and myself are happy and safe. I can crate, walk, handle, and many other things with ease. I have four years of experience working with behaviorally challenged, shy, previously abused, untrusting, high energy, and the “typical” dogs. I have seen it all!

About: I have had variety of pets over the years! I am into getting my walking steps in and walking pets will get me the steps! I try and walk everyday as much as I can and I know pets need their exercise to keep them healthy. I have the summer off to walk more. I would like to meet the pets before I start to enter the house without the home owner present. I am able to make sure they have food and water before I leave. Also I can take sometime and play with your pets while I am there and give them some attention.
