About: Volunteering at shelters and owning an array of pets throughout my life helps me understand fully how to care for a creature. I've never turned away an animal and have worked with nursing birds, rodents, bunnies, and kittens back to health after rescuing them. I also love working with exotic pets like amphibians or reptiles, but mainly I board and walk dogs! I'm very good at reading body language and training stubborn dogs, and working with animals full time would be a dream career. Right now I'm studying premedicine / ecology at UA and taking care of animals over the summers to save money for school! Going to Albany on the 24th! Until then I can board, but afterwards I'm switching my location and removing boarding from my services as I'll be on campus. Large yard with electric fence and 2 extra collars for a medium dog. Home with 3 accessible stories, dog food, treats, litter box, toys and plenty of enrichment. Dog beds and human beds for sleeping, large safe neighborhood for walks!!

“Kyle took great care of our pups. Both of our dogs are high energy and he kept them busy while we were away. He is friendly and kept them well fed, and also made sure to dry off the pups before letting them back in as it was rainy while we were gone. There was an accident that had not been addressed, but otherwise all was swell. Thank you for taking good care of our doggos, Kyle!!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid, having many pets growing up. I have volunteered in the animal care center at Greenburgh nature center where I got to care for a variety of reptiles and mammals. I have dog sat many family friends dogs, and also walked dogs for families I've babysat. Most recently, I worked at the Hudson Valley Humane Society Shelter where I mostly worked with farm animals and dogs, and is where I met and adopted my sweet boy named Suka. I currently am working in Ithaca 6:30-3:00pm and have the afternoons available I would be able to work in the Ithaca area or surrounding all the way to Truxton (where I currently live). Come this September I will have Wednesdays and Weekends completely available. I live on 5 acres, with plenty of room to play. I will always keep your pet on a leash or make sure there surrounding area is gated in so no one escapes. Having a husky, I am well versed on being prepared for escape artists.

“Briana, and her little boy, always exceed expectations. My animals will be asking me to go back on the road just so they can see her again. Rover hasn’t recognized livestock yet, but Briana does!”

About: Hi, I’m Destiny Bowers, a passionate animal care professional with over 17 years of experience. I specialize in animal training, grooming, and individualized care for pets of all sizes and temperaments—including those who are aggressive or reactive. From senior to young kittens/puppies, dogs, cats, birds, and even snakes, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of animals, always prioritizing their mental and physical wellbeing. My journey into animal behavior began in college, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I wasn’t able to complete my degree. However, I plan to return and finish my studies. In the meantime, I’ve continued to expand my expertise through hands-on work in multiple boarding facilities and with the SPCA. I’m also certified in pet first aid and CPR, attending annual recertifications to ensure I’m always prepared to keep your pets safe. Whether your pet needs training, grooming, or personalized care, I’m here to help. I also have extensive experience administering medications and tailoring my approach to fit each pet’s unique needs. I recently have started as a hobby, pet photography, so you will get plenty of photo updates if you book with me. If you’re interested in training, grooming, or photography services, please reach out for a custom quote. For dog walking, house/pet sitting, or drop-in visits, bookings can be made through Rover. I look forward to providing the care and attention your pet deserves! My current schedule allows for all-day play with your pup or kitty! Nothing would please me more!! However, this can change. I do own my own dog training business therefore when I get busy with appointments I will have to update my schedule, luckily most my clients are on vacation currently. If interested in my training or grooming services let me know and I'll give you a quote. I am very very observant of my surroundings. I will NEVER let ANY unknown people or animals near your fur baby. I am very aware of how to best handle aggressive and reactive dogs. You will have video/picture updates of your fur baby while in my care so you can rest assured that they are under only the best care!

About: Hi! We’re a loving family offering calm, attentive pet care in a peaceful home. We know how hard it is to find sitters who truly treat your pets like family — that’s what we’re here for. We’re hands-on, experienced, and genuinely care about helping your pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved. We don’t have any pets of our own (just our daughter’s goldfish 🐠) so your pet gets our full attention! What You Can Expect ✅ 1–3 photo updates per day ✅ Personalized routines ✅ Several daily walks ✅ Tons of affection (if wanted!) ✅ Low-stress, quiet home ✅ Gentle, patient settling-in process ✅ Medication administration (if needed) 🧡 Specialized Add-On Care We offer extra support for pets with higher needs (please select at booking): Anxiety Support: +$50/night Puppy Supervision: +$50/night Senior Care: +$50/night Medical/Special Needs: +$50/night ✨ Optional Add-Ons Brush-Outs: $15–$50 FaceTime Check-ins: $15 (15 min) High-Energy Playtime: $60 (1 hour) Extra Updates: $10 each Home-Cooked Meals: $25/day 🧼 Other Fees (Only If Needed) Cleaning (Excessive Accidents): $20 Per Accident Damage: Cost of repair Emergency Vet Transport: $50 + vet cost or transfer to emergency contact 📋 Drop-Off & Behavior Policy At your meet-and-greet or drop-off, we’ll ask you to sign a brief form outlining our policies. We’ve worked with pets with mild to moderate anxiety, but we cannot accept pets with severe separation anxiety or behaviors that require 24/7 supervision — those pets must be picked up immediately due to causing high-tension and stressful situations for both your pet, and our family. We do not accept pets with: 🚫 Aggression or reactivity 🚫 Destructive behavior 🚫 Ongoing house-training issues 🚫 Unsafe behavior around children 🚫 Excessive barking, howling, whining 🚫 Inability to be left alone briefly for long stays 🚫 Have owners who are unresponsive to urgent concerns 🚨 Undisclosed Behavior Fees: Severe Separation Anxiety: Immediate pickup or $250/Night Excessive Barking: Immediate pickup or $250/Night Aggression or Reactivity: Immediate pickup or $250/Night Unsafe Around Kids: Immediate pickup or $250/Night 💛 Why This Matters We’re calm, patient, and truly love caring for animals — but on rare occasions, we’ve had difficult experiences with neglectful pet owners that created unsafe or stressful situations. That’s why we’ve set clear boundaries: to protect the peaceful, loving environment we’ve built and to prioritize clients who respect their pets and us — especially with a young child in our home. These policies aren’t meant to discourage who we service at our core - amazing loving pet parents. They simply help filter out mismatches so we can focus on what we do best: giving your pet a safe, happy, and loving stay. Thank you for understanding, and supporting care rooted in honesty, trust, and love. Availability: Joshua works full time from home, and Kaitlin stays home full time so we tend to have open availability to care for your loved pets. Limitations: ❌ No aggressive animals ❌ No animals with fleas currently ❌ No animals who are not child friendly ❌ Must have proof of rabies vaccines for dogs ❌ Must regularly check dogs or cats for ticks ❌ No animals with severe anxiety (unless discussed prior)

About: I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life and have had quite a bit of experience walking dogs as well as dog sitting in the past for family and friends in a variety of environments including my home as well as the homes of others. I have a passion for caring for animals and consider myself to be very in tune with their needs. I currently have 3 large dogs and a cat, and have also had small dogs in the past. Whether it’s walking dogs, looking after them in your home or anything else that you may need for your pets, I’m happy to do it all. I love to see animals happy, healthy and well cared for and am excited to be a contributing factor in doing that for your pet.

About: Aside from over 20 years of experience caring for my own family pets, I have majored veterinary science, have worked in a veterinary clinic, and have previously provided foster care for sick, injured, malnourished, pregnant, nursing, and infant dogs. As such, I am able to handle any situation that may arise with your pet. I am comfortable administering medications and treatments if needed. I am willing to provide basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for an additional fee. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so you can be confident your dog will have plenty of walking and outdoor play time with me. I am happy to care for a wide variety of pets, not just dogs. I love all animals, but unfortunately cannot have any of my own right now, so I would love to play with yours! I work part-time, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pets and make sure they get all the attention they need. I have 2 dogs, but I live with my family, so I know they will be well cared for while I care for your pets!

Rachel N.
“Rachel has watched our chocolate lab Charlie on numerous occasions and has taken excellent care of him as if he was her own! She is very responsible, reliable, and punctual. As a dog parent herself she understands the importance of the "little things" besides just feeding and walking. I highly recommend Rachel as a pet caregiver!”

Katelyn L.

“Took great care of my kitties. Thank you.”

Tess N.
“I have 2 beautiful rescue pups that are very special to our family. I will not kennel them and I am very particular who stays with them when we're away. Tess is always my first choice! Not only is she a great care taker, she gives our pups tons of attention. She also has an educational background in vet-tech so she's very knowledgeable. She is also one of the few people I will let stay with my human pups 😊.”
