About Bingo Pet Hospice
Bingo Pet Hospice is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to support owners of aging pets with educational, emotional and financial assistance to prevent the abandonment or unnecessary, early euthanasia of elderly animals.
Run entirely by volunteers, Bingo Pet Hospice traces its origins back to 2009 when the founder's 11-year-old American Border Collie, Bingo, began to struggle with the impact of old age. Understanding that others must also be struggling to meet the changing needs of aging dogs, Bingo Pet Hospice was founded to help people keep their pets as comfortable as possible by providing information and assistance. Although Bingo passed away in 2011, her struggle continues as the heart and soul of Bingo Pet Hospice.
Headquartered in Greensboro, NC, Bingo Pet Hospice conducts all operations in the home of the organization's founder until enough capital is raised to build a retirement home for surrendered or abandoned elderly pets.
