Animal Humane New Mexico is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and serves as the state’s leading private animal welfare organization serving cats, dogs and their families. From their main campus in Albuquerque, Animal Humane New Mexico partners with shelters across the state to rescue homeless pets. Since January 2010, they have successfully re-homed 100% of the healthy pets in their care! Animal Humane New Mexico support every cat and dog in their care with outstanding veterinary, social and emotional care and--most importantly--love, until they are adopted by their new forever families.
It is their mission to support and improve the lives of New Mexico’s cats and dogs through comforting shelter, thoughtful adoptions, humane education and full-service veterinary care.
