“Highly recommend! This was my first time ever using a sitting service and I was super nervous about going to visit my family for the first time in two years due to COVID since my usual cat sitters (my neighbors) moved away. I must say, she looked after my kitties even better than the neighbors! She sent me pictures during each visit, followed my feeding/cleaning instructions to a tee, and even did a few other random tasks such as take my garbage bin back into the garage. One of my cats can be standoffish when meeting strangers, and she had no hesitations whatsoever when I warned her and ended up befriending my fiesty kitty! Beyond that she was extremely responsive, kind, understanding, and I will 100% be a return customer for her next time I go on vacation!!”

About: I love dogs. My past pet experience are amazing dogs are the most pure-hearted animals I know. One comment I get a lot of that I attracted a lot of animals, cats too. I love cats as much as dogs, one think that will set me apart from other sitters is that I want the dog to trust me. I want the dogs I take care of to see me as someone that they are ok with and not someone that is just there to watch them. I want them to enjoy the time with me as much as I will enjoy my time with them. Cats as well I want your animals to trust me as much as you will trust me to take care of them. i’m currently in school with no job but i will work after and on weekends, i love animals and don’t mind spending most my time with them. i live with my mom and we have a big yard(1.8 acres) so they live running out side and i have a big room with lots of space and a big bed so animals can lay on it.

About: Hello! My name is Yari and my husband is Colby! We both are Army veterans who just moved to Lockhart last December and we are so happy to be here. I’ve taken care of my parents elderly dog (Nacho the pug) for all of his life (all of 16 years) and my Luna for 12 years. I dog sit/ in-home check-ins for my friends and family’s dogs when they go on vacation a few times a year. I am kind, gentle and patient with every animal I care for. I work from home, so I will definitely have a lot of time for your furbabies! I am available for house sitting/ doggy day care/walks mostly anytime of any day. I am mostly free to do check ins for your pups in-home depending on what and when you’d prefer. I have a BIG fenced yard with 2 friendly furbabies (Luna the yorkie and Fang the Bluey) to keep your pups company. I can crate your pup or they can stretch their legs throughout the house and yard.

About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’ve started a new job helping guide children with autism, this will keep me busy M-F, 8-5. I will be available on the weekends and certain evenings. Don’t hesitate to message me to inquire! I won't be able to care for your pets inside of my own home, but I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not want to stay overnight in your home, but I will offer long term care if granted in and out access.

About: I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and cats. I also worked for Petco in the grooming center for a few years in my twenties. I currently have a "tortie"cat named Lute (aka Francis) and a (lab/australian sheperd/heeler mix) dog named Bowalter. I frequently pet sit for a full size Schnauzer named Rocky and his sister, (basset hound) Melba. I am a restaurant owner in Lockhart and only work Wednesday-Friday. I am currently off at 2:30 on Fridays plus Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. With clear directions, I am more than happy to follow any requests regarding pet care. Whether that includes walks, meals, play, or bathing - I am flexible.

About: During college I worked at a boarding kennel, working my way up to manager. At that time I also volunteered for a dog rescue and shadowed a force free, fear free dog trainer, where I learned about dog behavior. I often gave dogs medicines, fed them their particular diets, and calmed pets that missed their pawrents. I am a teacher August-May, so my availability during the school year is limited to weekends or after school. During the months of June and July I have lots of availability to love on your babies and make sure their needs are met! :) While caring for pets in your home I like to make sure all are accounted before before leaving, that doors are securely shut, and that nothing dangerous or potentially harmful is available. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and during summer months dogs are watched carefully.
