Rather than turning around and canceling our trip, i began digging in to find care. But, a complete stranger in my home for 10 days!?!? The search was on!! It was reassuring that Rover completes background checks on all care givers. After searching, and contacting many employees, I reached out to Gabriella, and she responded so timely. She was on board and available to help me with our Boxer. Galadriel (Ellie), who is truly a love but not good with other dogs. This service and Gabriella, saved our trip!! She was very responsible, trustworthy, and went over and beyond what her responsibilities were. She brought in packages without being asked. She also cared for our Bearded Dragon, Ozzy, because she saw the need. She stayed the night, and basically took care of the house in our absence. I will definitely be referring this service and reserving Gabriella in the future!!! Thank you Gabriella, truly you took a weight off my shoulders at the start of our trip, and kept it off by taking such great care of our Ellie!!”

About: I have grown up with pets throughout my whole life! My family has always chosen to adopt rescues so we have had a variety of animals. I am proficient in puppy care along with administering medication to animals. I am a recent graduate of UW-Madison and would love to start building a client-base in my hometown area! “Tina is an amazing groomer for large dogs and small. She has been grooming our Sheepadoodles for years and makes them looks so beautiful. She attends to every little detail. We also have two Puggles that have anxiety attacks, accidents and messes in the car when we have to drive them to the groomer. Tina has resolved that issue by coming to our house and cutting their nails, in and out in 10 min for both of them, and no panic attacks. It's sooo nice. I would recommend Tina for anyone's fur babies. She is very loving and caring with all fur babies.”

About: I've cared for many different breeds of dogs since I was 8. I have taken care of many different types of animals including birds, cats, and even reptiles! Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years. I work four days a week at Fox Valley Tech, and once I get off of work, Chase and I go on adventures. About: I’ve cared for dogs from Small - Large since 2018. I have a Dog of my own that I’ve trained since a Puppy (3 months). She is now 4 Years Old, and knows quite a bit, with a wonderful recall/off-switch! If there’s anything sepcific you’d like me to work on, I can do that! I’ve watched family members dogs (and other pets) when needed, and they’ve received the attention and exercise they need by playing, walking, training, etc! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, as I am constantly caring for my own dog and soon-to-be puppy. Every day involves training, exercise, and enrichment to ensure both mental and physical stimulation. Given my experience with high-energy breeds like my Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Mix, I understand the importance of structured exercise and engagement. In addition to my own dogs, I also help a friend train, socialize, and work one-on-one with puppies from her litters. This hands-on experience with various temperaments and developmental stages further strengthens my ability to provide proper care, enrichment, and training reinforcement for pets in my care. Fun fact: My dog and I once walked 90 miles in a month for a cause! In both my home and my client’s home, I prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care. I ensure they have access to fresh water, appropriate food, and a clean, comfortable space to rest. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, exercise, and mental enrichment suited to their energy levels and needs. For dog walking, I use secure, well-fitted leashes(if not provided), and I always remain aware of my surroundings to keep walks safe and enjoyable. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, such as preferred walking routes, training cues, and handling preferences. About: I'm a pre-vet student at the University of Minnesota-- home for the summer and would love to take care of your pet!
