About: Hi there! I'm Alena, and I recently moved to Lake Tahoe after living in Florida for over a decade. Originally from Russia I've always been surrounded by dogs, from growing up with them to always having one by my side (my Golden Retriever, Charlie, keeps me busy!). We love staying active whether it's at the dog park, the lake or exploring local trails. I'd be thrilled to help keep your pup happy and active while you're away! I am taking a break from a busy work schedule and looking for my next career turn. At the moment I am fully available for you and your pet. I always have leash on when going outside and always have my eyes and ears open for any distractions that can trigger the dog. I have a reliable transportation in case of emergencies.

“Therese was the greatest dog-sitter I could’ve asked for as my first time using Rover and I will certainly be requesting her again on future visits to Lake Tahoe. I have a 60 lb female German shepherd named Annabelle that is very attached to me. I felt that Therese, who has a sweet and calming energy, was incredibly patient and gentle with my girl. They went on 3 walks in 8 hours (she spoiled Annabelle!) and Therese was very communicative and sent pictures during the day to keep me in the loop. I highly recommend her and I’m so glad I found someone kind and reliable to care for my dog while I’m skiing. Not only are her prices more than reasonable, she is great for those looking for a dog-sitter that doesn’t currently have dogs of their own (which is rare to find but necessary for dogs with social anxiety) If you are hesitant to book for any reason, Therese and I FaceTimed prior to the date to go over all of Annabelle’s needs and expectations. He has an Alaskan Malimute who is just the sweetest, non-aggressive, well behaved dog I have ever been around. He walks her several times a day, takes her to off leash dog parks etc. and they adore one another. If I had a dog of my own, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Kenny to care for them in my absence.”

“Sam is one of the best dog sitter's I've ever had! My dog Juniper absolutely loves her. When she comes over, Juniper's tail is wagging before she even walks in the door. One time, I was away for a weekend and asked Sam to stop in and walk and feed Juniper while I was away. My poor puppy had explosive diarrhea all over her crate, but when Sam got there she cleaned up Juniper and her crate and made some boiled chicken and rice for her to eat and get better. What a great gal. Highly recommend!”
