About: I grew up having dogs and small animals in my childhood home. I adopted my Alaskan Husky, a retired race dog, Fia 3 years ago. I started dog/house sitting in high school and have lots of experience caring for many different breeds. I have spent lots of time with house dogs as well as sled dogs. I am currently a full time student at UAF. While I am away for classes during the morning I am back to let my own dog out for walks by early afternoon. I occasionally go back to campus late afternoon but I have lots of time to go back and forth. I only live about a 5 minute drive from UAF. I dont have a fenced yard so I prefer to leash all pets I watch. I crate my dog and prefer that pets are crate trained, but this isn’t 100% required if the pet doesn’t have a destructive history.
