1. Joanne W.
About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, building a deep understanding and love for their unique personalities and needs. My experience includes volunteering with several dog and cat rescues, where I provided care, training, and support for animals of all breeds, including those with high needs. This hands-on work has given me the skills to handle pets with diverse temperaments, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I genuinely love all animals and take pride in offering thoughtful, compassionate care. Additionally, I have experience handling emergencies calmly and effectively, always prioritizing the safety and well-being of the pets in my care. My strong sense of organization allows me to manage feeding schedules, medication routines, and enrichment activities seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for both you and your beloved pets. As an avid gardener, I also offer plant care as an additional service. Whether you have a few cherished houseplants or a collection of greenery, I can keep them well-watered, pruned and healthy. I’m happy to discuss their specific care routines to ensure they receive the attention they need while you're away. Working from home allows me the flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for pets throughout the day. Whether I'm creating jewelry or painting with watercolors on my porch, pets are always a part of my peaceful routine. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddles fit seamlessly into my schedule, ensuring pets feel loved and engaged. My weekly rhythm allows for consistent care, whether it's a midday check-in, evening stroll, or extended stays. Caring for pets complements my lifestyle perfectly, as their presence brings joy and balance to my creative days. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize creating a safe and familiar environment for them. I spend significant time in their space, often working from their home during the day to provide consistent companionship. Pets thrive on routine, so I ensure their feeding, play, and exercise schedules remain as close to their usual patterns as possible. By maintaining their daily rhythm and being a calming, familiar presence, I help promote their psychological safety and well-being. In my home, pets are a part of my daily life and come with me everywhere. We enjoy alternating between indoor and outdoor time, ensuring a balance of relaxation and activity. There's a beautiful lake nearby with a gentle, scenic walk to the shore, perfect for a peaceful stroll. While I’m not an adventure hiker, I love slow, enjoyable walks that allow pets to explore and engage with their surroundings at a calm, comfortable pace. My home provides a nurturing and tranquil environment where pets feel like family.

3. Megan H.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. Friends have always trusted me to drop in, feed them and most importantly walk the dogs when they needed it. I’m currently working part-time and going to school. I still have a lot of free time on my hands which I would love to spend helping you and your friends. I won’t be able to care for your pets at my home since I still live at home but I am happy to help otherwise. I have a car and will be able to help you at your homes with your pets.
