“My golden retriever Honey is a rescue dog with severe separation anxiety. She cannot be in a crate and can be destructive when she’s left alone. Laura kept her for a week while I was on vacation. It was a wonderful experience! Laura and her pack made Honey feel right at home. She played outside with them in the fenced in yard and took daily walks. Honey had no problems with anxiety, and Laura made it a point not to leave her alone all week! I got frequent photo and video updates, which reassured me that Honey was happy and relaxed. When I came to pick her up, I’m not sure she was ready to leave! I will definitely be returning to Laura when I need a pet sitter again. She took excellent care of Honey and gave her a fabulous “vacation”! Laura is knowledgeable and experienced with pets, and you can trust her even if your pet has special needs.”

About: I am currently a Veterinary Assistant at Loyalsock Animal Hospital. I was previously a dog groomer for 3 years. I have always been an animal lover, I always knew that I wanted to work with animals as my career! I have over 10 years experience with caring and loving the furry ones. I grew up with taking care of many different breeds of dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own. I have a yard for my dogs to run around and play together at my home. I love being able to take my dogs on walks around my neighborhood.

About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. Currently I have 2 dogs which I watch and walk on a regular basis for friends and this has prompted me to want to do this for others as well. I do have experience caring for wounds and giving oral/topical medication. I have also done insulin shots in the past but it has been a while. I currently work full-time Monday thru Thursday and would have available time Thursday evening thru Sunday evening to perform walks or other pet siting needs. I routinely inspect the home space yours or mine for hazards and cleanliness. I currently have a small fenced area where your dog can easily have free time. I also enjoy visiting dog parks and walking well maintained trails. If pet sitting for a cat litter boxes will be cleaned 2x daily or as requested by client.

I’m one of those people that fall to the floor just to pet an animal passing by :) I’m available any time! I’m also great for driving distances and I’m super flexible, anytime you need me i’ll be there! I am in college so I can do in between classes and I have a lot of time for your babies! Coming from a house with many animals, I’m very used to being able to keep them safe. I am able to sense unease in an animal and can handle many different situations!
